Introduction

The Calibration Unit contains resistors and capacities within the specified tolerances for testing the Safety Pips.
The Calibration Unit requires no battery or any external power supply. Notice: Remove all connections from the measuring input of the Safety Pip!

Checking the Safety Pips

To check the limits please connect:

  • Left jack Cl) of the Calibration Unit with the Safety Pips’s ground.
  • Right jack of the Calibration Unit with the Safety Pips’s coil cord connector using the banana plug adapter.

Select sequentially with the marked leaver of the rotary switch each position of the Calibration Unit’s left scale (Lo, OK, OK, OK, Hi and Hi). The Safety Pips must indicate the results corresponding to the selected position of the rotary switch.
