Getting to know the product

The Free Located Wireless Switch 1-gang/ 2-gang (hereinafter referred to as device) is used to control a group of Zigbee devices within the same Zigbe network.

The device can be configured through the Wiser app or can be paired with other Wiser Zigbee devices.

To use the device in your home through the Wiser app, you will need the Wiser Gateway.

The frame and wall box are not included in the package. They must be procurred by the user

Mounting the device

Inserting the battery

Failure to follow these instructions can result in serious injury or death.

NOTICE

EQUIPMENT DAMAGE

The module is locked on the fixing plate with retaining claws. Never pull the module before sliding it upwards.

Failure to follow these instructions can result equipment damage.

  1. Remove the module by sliding it upwards.

  2. Rotate the module by 180° to access the battery cover.

  3. Press and hold the battery cover with your thumb.

  4. Slide the battery cover with another thumb to remove.
    Mounting the device

  5. Insert the battery with plus (+) symbol facing outward.

  6. Secure the battery cover.

The battery cover is designed with child lock protection.

Mounting using screws

  • G Fixing plate
  • H Frame
  • I Module
  • For wall box, wood or wall use mounting screws.
  • The minimum distance to walls/edges above and below the device must be approx. 7 mm.
  • For smooth surface, use adhesive pads.
  • For glass surface, use adhesive pads and adhesive silver foil.
  • While mounting the device, the arrows on the fixing plate must point upwards.

Note: Do not install the device on a metal surface, as it affects the wireless communication and performance of the device.

While installing the device on a wall box or an existing switch outlet combination, always isolate the 230 VAC cables by applying an adhesive silver foil on the fixing plate.

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

  1. Cut the adhesive silver foil to a size of 55 × 55 mm and then paste it on the rear side of the fixing plate.

  2. Secure the fixing plate on the wall box using screws.

  3. Insert the module into the frame from the front and ensure that it clicks into place.

  4. Mount the device on the fixing plate and make sure that it is firmly secured.

  • Affix the adhesive pads on the rear side of the fixing plate.
  • Mount the device on the surface.

**** Affix adhesive pads to the fixing plate.

  • Paste the adhesive silver foil on the surface, avoiding bubbles or folds in the foil.
  • Mount the device on the adhesive silver foil.

Replacing the battery

  • **** If the battery is low (< 10%) the status LED blinks red once, when a push button is pushed.
  • Do not remove the module from the frame. The battery can be replaced when the module and frame are in assembled state.
  • Dispose used batteries, as per statutory regulations.

Setting the device

Connecting to the Wiser Gateway

Short press (< 0,5 s) the push button 3 times to connect to an available Zigbee network. The status LED blinks amber and then turns green upon successful connection to the Zigbee network.

Resetting the device
Wiser Gateway Connection

Short press (< 0,5 s) the push button 3 times and then press and hold the push button (> 10 s), the status LED blinks red. Then release the push button, the status LED stops blinking upon successful reset of the device.

The device restarts and blinks green for a few seconds. After reset, the LED turns off to save the battery.

**** After the device is reset, all the programming and network data will be deleted.
