The tool shall be recharged only with the specified charger for the battery. A charger that may be suitable for one type of battery may create a risk of fire when used with another battery. Use battery operated tool only with specifically designed battery pack. Use of any other batteries may create a risk of fire. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like: EN paper, clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals 4 together may cause sparks, burns or a fire. Do not incinerate the tool even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.

Additional safety rules for your hot glue gun

  1. Do not leave the hot glue gun unattended when in use.
  2. This product is designed for light domestic use only, it is not designed for industrial purposes and every care has been taken to make the hot glue gun safe, accidents can happen. By following the simple safety guide, you can avoid serious accidents.
  3. Be aware that heat may be conducted to combustible materials that are out of sight.
  4. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture. Store indoors. Read instruction manual before using.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY PACK

a) Do not dismantle, open or shred battery pack.
b) Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
c) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not store battery packs haphazardly in a box or drawer where they may short-circuit each other or be short- circuited by other metal objects. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or fire.
d) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical shock.
e) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
f) Do not use any battery pack which is not designed for use with the equipment.
g) Keep battery pack out of the reach of children.
h) Always purchase the battery pack recommended by the device manufacturer for the equipment.
i) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
j) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
k) Battery pack needs to be charged before use. Always use the correct charger and refer to the manufacturer’s instructions or equipment manual for proper charging instructions.
l) Do not leave battery pack on prolonged charge when not in use.
m) After extended periods of storage, it may be necessary to charge and discharge the battery pack several times to obtain maximum performance.
n) Recharge only with the charger specified by Worx. Do not use any charger other than that specifically provided for use with the equipment.
o) Retain the original product literature for future reference.
p) Use only the battery pack in the application for which it was intended.
q) Remove the battery pack from the equipment when not in use.
r) Dispose of properly.
s) Do not mix cells of different manufacture, capacity, size or type within a device.
t) Keep the battery away from microwaves and high pressure.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: Before using the tool, read the instruction book carefully.
INTENDED USE The tool can be used for bonding wood, leather, plastics ,papers and other mateEN rials. 8

ASSEMBLY

  1. Insert the appropriate glue stick for the material being glued via the hole at the rear of the glue gun. Use 0.28” (7mm) mini glue sticks (See Fig. A)
  2. Connect the gun and the hub. (See Fig. B)

WARNING: Before operation, make sure the speed control button on the hub is at the “Min” position. (See Fig. C) and the surfaces to be glued must be clean, dry and free of grease. NOTE :The speed control does not work with the glue gun. The speed control is for other tools, such as the MakerX Rotary Tool or Angle Grinder.

OPERATION

  1. Confirm the speed control button is set to “Min”. Grasp the tool by the grip. Press the on/off switch on the hub. Then press button on the tool for 3s until the it turns red ,which means the glue gun is heating. When the light turns green, the gun is ready for operation. Press the trigger for gluing. (See Fig. D,E,F) After applying the glue, immediately press the surfaces to be glued together.
    NOTE: It is recommended to apply the glue on large surfaces or long work pieces in the form of points. On flexible materials, apply in lines. WARNING: Do not allow the hot glue or the nozzle tip to come into contact with persons or animals. If hot glue contacts with the skin, do not try to remove the glue from the skin, but put the affected area immediately under a stream of cold water for several minutes.

  2. Press the power button until the light goes out. Then press the on/off switch on the hub to turn off after use.

NOTE: In order to save energy, the glue gun switches off automatically after 10 minutes. NOTE: Put down the glue gun in a safe way and allow it to cool down completely before packing it away after each use.

MAINTENANCE

Remove the battery before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance. There are no user serviceable parts in your power tool. Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store your power tool in a dry place. Keep the motor ventilation slots clean. Keep all working controls free of dust. Occasionally you may see sparks through the ventilation slots. This is normal and will not damage your power tool. Store the accessories in a dry place.

WARNING: Do not use inflammable solvents for cleaning the surfaces to be glued. For excess hardened glue, it can be removed with a blunt object. Do not use solvent for cleaning.
