Duken Switch X Smart Phone Gimbal
Mobile Phone Mounting and Balance Adjustment
- Step 1: Unfold the Gimbal
- Step 2: Follow the red arrow to fix the phone on the clam
- Step 3: Balance Adjustment When mounting the phone, make sure the lens is on the left side of the clamp, and the phone is balanced under both landscape and portrait modes.
Warm Tips
- To prevent the phone from sliding off, the back of which should be pressed closely against the damp and the whole phone should fit into the clamp well.
- Do not switch the Gimbal on before phone mounting. Whether the phone is balanced or not has a huge impact on the battery life of the Glmbal. Glmbal works when the phone Is out of balance, but with more power consumed and force moment reduced.
- The Rolling Range and Panning Range of Switch X are 330° and 326″ respectively, To avoid damaging the Gimbal, please do not exceed the limits.
Product Activation
Please search for “Du ken” in the App Store or scan the QR code to install Du ken APP (Android 6.0 or above, iOS 9 or above) to activate the Gimbal.
Activation Steps:
- Phone mounting and balance adjustment.
- Switch on the gimbal and tum on the Bluetooth.
- Open Du ken App, select Switch X from the device list.
- When used for the first time, Switch X should be activated through Du ken APP, otherwise, the motor cannot work.
- After being activated, the Gimbal starts to work.
Quick Release Phone Clamp
Align the white point on the phone clamp with that of the Rolling Axis, rotate clockwise to loosen, and counterclockwise to tighten.
Mini Tripod
Use the mini tripod on a level surface
Telescopic Stick
Hold the handle with the left hand, extend or retract the telescopic stick with the right hand.
The Tilting Range is 90°, please do not exceed the limit. When loose, the Tilting Axis can be screwed down with the Phillips screwdriver.
Button and Interface Description
- Indicator Light: A.fter switching on, the indicator lights up from left to right to suggest the battery power.
- M Button/Power Button
- Tap the button to switch Following Modes
- Double-tap the button to switch between landscape or portrait
- Long press the button for power on/off
- WT Zoom Slider: Push up or down to zoom in or out in APP
- Shutter Button
- Joy Stick:
- Push the joystick up and down to adjust the Rolling Range
- Push the joy stick left and right to adjust the Panning Range
- Biaxial Following Locked: Tap the M button When the Rolling Axis and Panning Axis are locked, the phone doesn’t rotate with the handle. Push the joy stick up/down to adjust the rolling angle, left/right to control the horizontal direction.
Modes
Default mode: Pan Following When the Rolling Axis is locked, the phone rotates horizontally with the handle. Push the joy stick up/down to adjust the rolling angle, left/right to control the horizontal direction.
The green circle indicates that the axis rotates with the handle, and the red circle means the locking of the axis.
Biaxial Following: With a tap of the M button, both the Rolling Axis and Panning Axis rotate with the handle. Push the joystick up/down to adjust the rolling angle, left/right to control the horizontal direction.
