Precautions
Keep the taillight turn signal unit out of direct sunlight or damage might result.
Battery Power Saving Function
After approximately a 2 minute time period when the remote has not been used, the remote controller will go into a power saving mode to save battery usage. This mode will be indicated when light will go out and onlythe warning button and brake light will be on.
If the remote controller has not been used for over 10 minutes or more, press the large mode button/stop button on the remote to wake up the controller.
Remote Control Pairing multiple turn signal units
To control two turn signal units to respond to one remote, press and hold down the first signal unit on/off button until the red power indicator starts flashing. The remote will then will pair to the signal unit. The red indicator should stop flashing. To pair the 2nd turn signal unit, repeat the same procedure.
Additional Troubleshooting Pairing Tips (when pairing does not work)
- A. Replace the remote battery with a new battery to see if the battery is the problem.
- B. Verify the turn signal unit battery has been charged to full capacity.
- C. If re-pairing is necessary each time the unit has been previously used, then try:
- Hold down the signal unit on/off button until the red bulb starts to blink. The signal unit will go into a bulb test turning on all the LEDs.
- Continue to hold the on/off button for approximately 3 more seconds. When counting the blinks, include the first bulb test blink in your count.
- After the 3rd blink, depress the large remote mode button/stop button to complete the pairing. If pairing is not successful as described above, try repeating the above procedure.
