Inserting Your Device:
Holding your device in landscape rrDCe with the volurre control buttons facing up, press the top half of your device into the case light pressure to snap it snug into place, Press tre bottom half of your device into the case and check ea.ch corner make we your device is sealed properly.
Attaching and Detaching
the Keyboard: Simply pace the case into the kryXJard hinge to magnetically attach. To delete. hold down the keyboard and pull up on one comer of the case to disengage the magnets
Removing Your Device:
Hold on to the top tip of the toe case and press agai1st the back of the
case. I hen, grasp the exposed side of your device and lift/pull it away from
the cover.
Powering On/Off:
Press the power button to turn your Rugged Book keyboard on. A gree1 I Fr)
will light BRIC-1y. Press and hold the power button for three seconds 😮 wm
your RJgged Book keyboard off A rec LED will flash indicating i: has Learned
on’.
Pairing the Keyboard with Your Device:
Verify your device’s Bluetooth”‘ settings are Press and Cold v’s Bluetooth I be ton for three seconds. A blue LED unde0 the power button pairing is complete. Selec: “ZAGG Rugged Book” from your device’s I isl or available devices lo complete pairing To pair a second device, press and hold tre B Bluetooth 2 button for three seconds, and follow the same procedure.
Charging Your Keyboard:
Plug the Type-C end of the chargirg cable into : he keyboard anc the other US
e1d into your preferred USfi charging outlet /I -cd LED lig1t en the battery
key wil
ii um nate to show that your keyboard is charging. When this light, turns off,
your Rugged Book keyboard is charging. ::
Disconnect the charging cable.
Disconnecting Your Keyboard: F rst, detach the keyboard fror, the case. See previous instructions. There are three ways to switch to your onscreen keyboard:
- Press the Keyboard Hide/SC ow button
- Turn off the BIL-etoot1 connection from your device.
- Turn the Rugged Book keyboard off
Checking Your Battery Level
To check your ‘l.ugged Book’ battery life, press “n + the battery key. T 1e LED light will flash one of the following three ways:
- 3 greer finishes = 50% O’ more batery
- 2 yellow “lashes = 2-49% battery liFE
- red first = less than 75 % battery life
Trouble Shooting
If your device doesn’t respond to Rugged Book, there may be a simple explanation. Try to following steps
- Restart your device.
- 2. Tum your Rugged Book elf and back on.
- Forget and re-pair your Rugged Book,
- If your Rugged Book does 101 establish or maintain a Bluetooth connection, resel Bluelooth module by charging your keyboard.
- If, charging, your keyboard doesn’t o Jerate correct y, please contact ZAGG Customer Service.
