Troubleshooting

Q1. The milk frothier does not heat when turned on.

A 1: 1. Make sure the milk frothier is plugged into the power outlet and switched on. 2. Make sure the milk jug is properly onto the power base.

Q2: When turned on, the indicator light lights upland the milk frothier starts to heat, but the whisk/disc does not work.

A2.: 1. Make sure the whisk/disc is mounted on a shaft on the inner bottom of the jug. 2. Ensure the whisk/disc is not broken.

Q3: Selecting the Cappuccino, Latte or Cold function, but too little or too much milk foam.

A3: 1. For optimal milk froth, always use fresh, cold milk(about 2-8C). 2.Make sure the pure milk is within its sell-by date. 3.Be sure to use the frothing whisk.

NOTE

1. Temperatures and times may vary depending on the initial temperature and type and function of the milk used.
2. Chocolate: Chocolate beans or chocolate powder are recommended. Chocolate blocks must be cut into small pieces.

How to use the milk frother

1. Place the milk frother on a level,dry,stable surface. Insert the power plug into a120v– power outlet and switch on at the power outlet.

2. According to function and the whisk/disc matching table, Insert the whisk or mixing disc onto the shaft at the inner bottom of the milk jug (pic1 ).

3. Pour the required amount of fresh and cold milk into the milk jug(pic2) and replace the lid(pic3) ,place the milk jug back onto the power base(pic4).

4. Press the button to select the desired function on the control panel (pic5).
   The light above the function will flash two seconds, and the milk frother will start automatically(pic5).

5. Once done, the milk frother will stop automatically and beep three times.

6. Carefully lift the milk jug off the power base using the handle, and place the milk jug onto a wooden table. Lift the lid off the milk jug. Tip the milk or milk foam into a cup or glass.

♦ NOTE

1. According to functions and the whisk/disc matching use table, do not exceed the MAX lines marked inside the milk jug.
2. Exceeding the MAX lines may cause milk overflow. When a milk spill occurs,remove the milk jug immediately and cut off the power supply.
3.  For optimal milk froth, always use fresh,cold milk(about 2-8C).
4.  The milk frother has been designed specifically for the purpose of foaming milk and other dairy milk alternatives and is not intended to thicken or heat other food substances e.g. cream, custards, soups, gravies.

■ WARNING

1. The magnetic frothing whisk and magnetic mixing disc are choking hazards. Children must always be under supervised and never left unattended with appliance.
2. Do not exceed the MAX lines marked inside the milk jug.
3. Do not place hot milk jug on or close to the power cord.

Cleaning and Storage

1. Cleaning
   (A) Never immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.
   (B) The milk jug,whisk,disc,lid and seal should be cleaned after each use to prevent build-up of milk residue.
   (C) The milk jug is dishwasher safe,but can not be washed at the temperature higher than 70’C/158F
   (D) Hand washing: wash the milk jug, lid, seal,whisk and disc with detergent and rinse with warm/hot water. Do not use abrasive material that might damage the surface of the equipment.(Pic6, Pic7)

2.  Storage
   (A) Insert the magnetic mixing disc onto the shaft at the bottom of the milk jug and replace the lid.
   (B) Turn the power base over and secure the frothing whisk inside the magnetic whisk storage compartment.
   (C) Keep the milk frother out of reach of children.

■ WARNING
The milk jug should not be washed more than 70 C /158F in the dishwasher.

Important Safety Precautions

• Carefully read all instructions before use and save for future reference.

• Remove and safely discard any packaging material and promotional labels before using the milk frother for the first time.

•  To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, please remove and safely discard the packaging bag and the protective cover fitted to the power plug of this appliance.

• This appliance can not be used by persons(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of  the appliance, by a person responsible for their safety.

• The appliance is intend to be used in household and similar applications such as
  – staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
  — farm houses;
  – by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
  — bed and breakfast type environments

• The magnetic frothing whisk and magnetic mixing disc of the milk frother are choking hazards. Children must always be supervised and never left unattended with appliance.

• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors. Misuse may cause injury.

• Do not use the appliance if damaged. A damaged appliance can cause electric shocks, burns and fire.

• Never dismantle or repair the milk frother by yourself.

• The appliance must not be immersed. Never immerse the power base of appliance in water or other liquids. Don’t pour liquid into the power base. Electricity and water together can cause a fatal electric shock. ·Misuse of the device can lead to possible injuries

• Do not place the appliance on or near hot surfaces, such as hot gas burners, hot plate or similar.

• The heating plate surface is subject to residual heat after use. Do not touch as it can cause serious burn injury.
  ·Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  ·lf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

• The power base can only use the milk jug provided by the milk frother.

•  Do not put metal or similar items into the milk jug as this may damage or affect the operation of the unit.

• Do not touch the hot milkjug,use the handle.

• Do not operate the milk frother when there is no milk or water in the milk jug.

• Make sure the outside and bottom of the milk jug is dry before you put it onto the power base.

•  Connect only to 120V– power outlet.
