Thank you for choosing the Lighting Pad Lounge.
This acoustic light uniquely combines high quality materials with trend- setting lighting technology. The smart control option via the Connect Mesh app ensures smoothly adaptable lighting scenarios and an always comfortable lighting atmosphere.
In a complex manufacturing process, the wood on top of the luminaires is brought into its soft shape, making every Lighting Pad Lounge a unique, locally crafted Nimbus masterpiece.
The brief introduction on the following pages will ensure optimal operation and enjoyment of your new Lighting Pad Lounge.

CONTROLS

Sensor range

BASIC MODES

• Swipe your hand under the sensor to switch the luminaire on or off.

• Let your hand hover below the sensor and the luminaire will slowly dim or brighten. The dimming direction changes with each switching procedure after it has reached the max value.

• Press the pairing button. The red LED
  will blink when the luminaire is ready to pair with the Häfele app, and stop blinking when pairing is successful. Press the button again to exit the pairing mode. see page 8

• When the luminaire is in mode 1, you can dim the direct and indirect lighting simultaneously.

• When the luminaire is in mode 2, you can dim the indirect lighting on the wooden side.

• When the luminaire is in mode 3, you can change the colour temperature.

MODE SELECTION

1. Accessing mode 1
   When switched on, the Lighting Pad Lounge is by default in mode 1. The luminaire automatically returns to mode 1 after 10 seconds of no sensed activity.
   Direct+Indirect light Simply hold your hand under the sensor to dim the direct and indirect light simultaneously.

2. Accessing mode 2

   • Press the button once to access mode 2.
     The red LED glows as long as mode 2 is active.
     Indirect light

3. Accessing mode 3

   • From mode 2, press the button once more within 10 seconds of your last activity to access mode 3.*
   • To access mode 3 directly from mode 1, simply press the button twice in rapid succession.
     The red LED flashes as long as mode 3 is active.
     Colour temperature

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Adjustment

Thanks to the integrated vario mechanism, it is easy to change the desired pendant length over a range of 1500 mm: simply move the luminaire up or down with both hands.

Operation with the Häfele Connect Mesh App

1. Mesh App from the App Store or Google Play
2. Activate “Bluetooth” on your mobile device
3. Connect luminaire to power source (switch-on wall switch)
4. Press the connection button until the red LED flashes, then release, the LED will continue to flash
5. Under “Device”, search for new devices “+”
6. Select “Lighting Pad Lounge” on the device list and follow the app instructions
7. The Lighting Pad Lounge can now be operated with the app

Operation with the Häfele Connect Mesh Remote Control

1. Set-up the Lighting Pad Lounge and the Remote Control in the Häfele Connect Mesh app (see procedure above)
2. Set-up a new group under “Group”
3. Put Lighting Pad Lounge and Remote Control in this group
4. Configure the Remote Control buttons under “Device

Connect Mesh Push Button

Horizontal alignment

The luminaire needs to be mounted on the ceiling by a professional. For horizontal alignment please use the adjustment tool enclosed in the packaging, and consider the picture below:

Care instructions

• Switch luminaire off and allow to cool down prior to cleaning.
• Top (wood and lighting slots): wipe wood with a soft, damp, cotton cloth.
• Underside (fleece): carefully clean small stains with clear water, for tougher stains use a pH-neutral, perfumefree soap.
• Underside (lenses): wipe lenses with a soft cotton cloth.

WARNING NOTICE

Ambient temperature
For indoor use only. The luminaire is intended for use at room temperature (up to 30 °C).

Luminaire body
Don‘t use rubbing alcohol or chemicals, since it will cause irreversible damage to the wooden surface.

Environmental information
Do not dispose of the luminaire in the household waste.
