OverView
Welcome to private voice communication and transcription Privo can be used for noise cancellation and as a hand-held sound booth for voice silencing in situations where speech privacy and accuracy are required. Perfect for conducting private phone calls or discreetly using speech-enabled technology and software. Price may also be used to record and listen to audio when connected to any Bluetooth-enabled device.

Privo Essentials

The ergonomic design of Privo allows you to hold it naturally in either hand. Place the facepiece snugly against your face and move it around slightly to find the most comfortable fit. You are now in the proper position to begin speaking into your mask. The breathing port inside the mask allows the air you naturally expel while speaking to escape without permitting the sound of your voice to be heard. It is very important that the air does not escape between your face and the facepiece. If air escapes, sound escapes!  To test: hold the mask snugly against your faceand blow sharply. If you feel air escaping around your face, hold tighter to your face or re-position the facepiece.

Proper Breathing & Speaking

Breathing while speaking into the mask is done the same way as ordinary conversation. Inhale through the nose and expel air through the mouth as you speak. Do not try to hold your breath while speaking! The correct speaking voice is a soft tone, as though speaking not to disturb a sleeping child. Quieter than a normal speaking voice but above a whisper. The key to speaking in the proper voice lies in lowering the volume of your voice and maintaining the same voice level.

Power & Connecting

To Power ON Press and Hold the LED power button for 3 seconds. When powered on the LED button will remain green.

To Connect go to the Bluetooth settings on your device – search/select “Privo1” add and pair. Privo1 will remain on your Bluetooth device list until you delete it. To Power OFF Press and hold the power button for three seconds, then release – the LED will turn and remain off.

Microphone & Headphones

Privo is sensitive enough that only a whisper is required but feel free to speak in a normal tone if you prefer. Do not yell or scream into the microphone! The headphone jack is located on the bottom of the mask above the exhaust port. Any type of 3.5mm. (standard plug type) headphones will work when Privo is paired with your device. Use noise-canceling headphones for total privacy. You will find it is easier to hear yourself speaking into the mask while wearing headphones.

Charging

Charge Privo when powered on or off.

While charging the LED will remain orange. Once fully charged the LED will turn off. It takes 2 hours to reach full charge, but it is fine to leave Privo charging overnight. Privo can be used normally while charging.

Care and Maintenance

Remove the rubber facepiece from the handle. Inside is acoustic foam. Pinch the foam on both sides, rotate 90°, and gently remove. The foam and facepiece can be washed regularly in warm soapy water. While removed wipe the interior walls of the mask to keep clean. Reseal the facepiece on the handle. CAUTION : Do not immerse the microphone in liquid. Moisture-proof under normal conditions it may not function properly if saturated with liquid.
