EXTECH ET28B 4-Range Voltage Tester

OPERATION

To check for voltage, insert test leads into outlet or carefully touch test leads to the electrical contacts or circuit to be tested. If voltage is present, the neon indicators will light in the correct range. Use the highest illuminated range to determine the correct voltage. The brightness of the bulbs will increase as the voltage increases. To test for live side of an electrical outlet, insert one probe into the ground of the outlet while inserting the other probe into the alternate side of the outlet. The neon indicators will light when the probe makes contact with the live side of the outlet.

WARNINGS:

  • Risk of Electric Shock. Always check proper operation on a known working circuit before using.
