OPERATION IN DETAIL:

The correct way to place the device

Always place the air purifier 1 on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat- resistant, and sufficiently stable surface. Make sure that the device cannot fall down and that the power cord 10 cannot become a tripping hazard. The power plug 11 may only be plugged into suitable wall sockets.

If you use the device in the same place for a longer period of time, make sure that you also clean the walls and floors in the vicinity, as dirt can collect here. Always ensure that there is sufficient distance to walls, furniture, or other electrical devices during operation.

If you want to use the device specifically for filtering dust or pollen, it is recommended to place the device preferably near the floor, since dust and pollen are heavier particles that are mostly suspended in the air near the ground.

To ensure that the air can circulate effectively in the room, the air outlet 6 should always be at least 30 cm away from furniture or walls.

Air quality measurement sensor

The device has a built-in sensor 9 for measuring the current air quality in the room. The PM 2.5 concentration (respirable fine dust particles with an aerodynamic diameter < 2.5 µm) in the air is measured. Depending on the air pollution, the illuminated lamp ring 8 lights up in a different color:
Blue: PM 2.5 < 80 µg/m³ (low air pollution)
Yellow: PM 2.5 80 150 µg/m³ (medium air pollution)
Red: PM 2.5 >150 µg/m³ (increased air pollution)

It is recommended to increase the speed of the built-in fan in case of increased or medium air pollution.

ATTENTION!
The air purifier is not a substitute for regular ventilation of the windows in the room!

The air purifier cannot detect dust, ticks and their feces, mold spores, pollen, bacteria, or viruses, but only the general concentration of particles in the air. Air conditioners and radiators can affect the sensor`s measurement accuracy if the device is placed near them.

Power on/off

Switch on the device by pressing the On/Off button 17 once. You will hear a short confirmation tone and the On/Off button lights up blue. The unit is now ready for operation and is preset to run at the medium speed level. During operation, air is sucked in through the air inlet 5 , conveyed through the filter 2 , cleaned, and then blown out of the unit again through the air outlet 6 . Press the On/Off button 17 again to switch the unit off. You will hear again a short confirmation tone here and all lights on the product will go out.

Manual operation

Switch on the unit as described above. On the control panel 7 , both the illuminated lamp ring 8 and the medium level of the Fan speed indicator 19 light up blue. The unit is now in manual operating mode. After approx. 2 minutes of operation, the measurement of the air quality in the room is complete and, depending on the air pollution, the illuminated lamp ring 8 lights up either blue, yellow or red. Press the Fan speed button 18 to set the desired speed of the built-in fan.

Automatic operation

Switch on the device as described above. Then press the Auto-mode button 13 to switch to automatic operation mode. After approx. 2 minutes of operation, the measurement of the air quality in the room is complete and, depending on the air pollution, the illuminated lamp ring 8 lights up either blue, yellow or red. Depending on the level of air pollution detected, the air purifier will adjust the speed of the built-in fan and automatically increases or decreases for optimal air flow. Press the Auto-mode button 13 again to stop automatic operation. Setting up the speed
If you are in manual mode, you can adjust the speed of the fan yourself at any time by pressing the Fan speed button 18 until the desired speed (low – medium – high) is reached. Furthermore, the device has an additional speed level (Turbo), which can be set separately. To do so, press the Turbo button 16 to reach the maximum speed of the fan. The Turbo button then lights up red. To end the maximum speed of the fan again, either press the Turbo button 16 again or the Fan speed button 18. Alternatively, you can also press the Sleep-mode button 15 to reduce the fan speed and directly enter Sleep mode. If you do not manually switch off the maximum speed, it will automatically end after 1 hour of operation. The Turbo button 16 then no longer lights up red and the device then runs at medium speed again.

Sleep-Mode

Press the Sleep-mode button 15 to enter Sleep-mode. The device then operates extremely quietly at the lowest speed level. In Sleep-mode, only the Sleep-mode button 15 is illuminated. The On/Off button 17, the illuminated lamp ring 8 and the Fan speed indicator 19 do not light up. If you change the speed during Sleep-mode either to the medium speed using the Fan speed button 18 or to the highest speed using the Turbo button 16, Sleep-mode is automatically ended.

Timer

The device has a timer function that allows you to select the operating time from four different times. To do so, press the Timer button 12 to set the timer to 1 hour. A short tone sounds to confirm this and the indicator „1 h“ lights up blue on the control panel 7 . Press the Timer button 12 a second time to set the timer to 2 hours. Pressing the button a third time sets the timer to 4 hours, and pressing the button a fourth time sets the timer to 8 hours. If you press the Timer button for the fifth time, the timer is switched off again. The set duration lights up blue on the control panel 7 :

1 h (one hour) – 2 h (two hours) – 4 h (four hours) – 8 h (eight hours)”

During operation with timer, the respective indicator of the operating time also changes. After the time has already elapsed (1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, 7 hours), the display changes to the respective remaining time. When the timer has expired, the device switches off automatically.

While the timer is activated, all other functions of the device can still be used and set. The timer remains unaffected.

If the maximum speed is set with the Turbo button 16 during operation with timer, this does not change the duration of  the timer or the runtime of the maximum speed. This will still be ended automatically after 1 hour at the latest and the speed changes to the medium level.

CHANGE FILTER:

CAUTION

Before changing the filter 2 , make sure that the mains plug 11 is disconnected and the unit is no longer connected to any voltage source.

After a total of approx. 3,000 hours of operation, the filter 2 has reached the end of its service life and must be replaced. This is indicated by the red Filter reset indicator 14 on the control panel 7 . To change the filter 2 , proceed as follows:

  1. Take the device in your hand and turn the lid on the air inlet  5 on the lower housing 4 into „open“ direction.
  2. When the lid is turned into „open“ position, pull the lid up to open the housing.
  3. Hold both ends of the filter 2 and pull it out together with the filter bowl. The filter has two small cloth tabs that can be used to remove the filter.
  4. Insert the new filter into the unit according to the orientation with the cloth flaps facing upwards. The other way around, the filter cannot be inserted into the housing because the upper edge of the filter is wider than the lower edge and blocks accordingly.
  5. Then place the concave lid back onto the lower housing 4 .
  6. Finally, turn the lid into „close“ direction until you hear a click.

To subsequently reset the Filter reset indicator 14 to 0, press and hold the button for approx. 3 seconds. You will hear a short confirmation tone and the red light of the indicator will go out.

If you change the filter in advance, before the Filter reset indicator 14 starts to light up, press and hold the key for approx. 3 seconds until you hear a short tone, and the Filter reset indicator 14 lights up red. Repeat this procedure to reset the filter change indicator. You will then hear another short confirmation tone and the indicator will no longer light up.
