POINTS
For your child’s safety and health
WARNING!
Always use this product with adult supervision. Accidents have occurred when
babies have been left alone with drinking equipment due to the baby falling or
if the product has been disassembled. Always check feed temperature before
feeding. Keep all components not in use out of reach of children. Do not use
with hot liquids. Inspect before each use. Throw away at the first signs of
damage or weakness. Do not store or leave in direct sunlight or near a source
of heat. Do not store with or allow to come into contact with solvents or
harsh chemicals. Not suitable for use in a conventional oven, a microwave oven
or any other heating device.
CLEANING AND STERILIZATION
Before first use, clean the product and ensure it is dry. Always wash and
thoroughly dry the product immediately after use. Wash in warm soapy water and
rinse in clean water. Dry the product thoroughly by shaking excess water from
the Clevergrip™ base then gently wiping away all visible water droplets. Allow
to dry thoroughly by turning the cup upside down. If you have a dishwasher,
remove the Clevergrip™ base by placing your palm across the base and rotating
anti-clockwise to unscrew. Wash the cup on the top shelf of the dishwasher,
however the Clevergrip™base cannot be put in the dishwasher and must be hand
washed as per the previous instructions. Do not clean with abrasives, solvents
or harsh chemicals. Do not allow to come into contact with oil based foods
(e.g. oil/tomato based sauces) as staining will occur. If sterilizing please
use cold water sterilization only – refer to manufacturer’s instructions.
Not suitable for sterilization by boiling, steam or microwave.
USING YOUR NO KNOCK CUP
The Clevergrip™ base works effectively on dry, smooth, flat, solid surfaces
including table tops, high chairs and work surfaces. It does not work on
tablecloths, surfaces with deep wood grain
or fabric. If placed on a surface recently cleaned with household cleaning
products, the Clevergrip™ base may not grip as effectively, make sure your
surface is dry.
Before each use, test your Clevergrip™ base is working by placing your clean,
dry, empty cup on a dry, smooth, flat, solid surface. It should not tip over
when you gently tap the sides. It should lift easily when placed within reach
and picked up vertically.
If your No Knock™ Cup isn’t gripping your surface, it’s likely that the
Clevergrip™ base has some dust or dirt trapped inside so you should thoroughly
clean it.
To do so, first remove by placing your palm across the base and rotating anti-
clockwise to unscrew. Then rinse thoroughly under the tap ensuring that the
water runs into the small hole in the centre of the Clevergrip™ base.
Next gently lift the edge of the silicone skirt (do not pull) and run water
under the skirt all the way around.
Finally, rinse through all four holes in the solid part of the base and dry
thoroughly by shaking off excess water then gently wiping away all visible
water droplets. Allow to dry before screwing your Clevergrip™ base back into
your cup by hand. If your cup is sticking too much please check the following:
Your ClevergripTM base is completely dry. The surface you are putting the cup
onto is dry. You haven’t washed the ClevergripTM base in the dishwasher. To
remove a cup that is sticking too much simply slide off the edge of the
surface or leave for a few minutes and try again.
Or lift the cup up at an angle and put your thumb on the silicone skirt and
push to break the seal, your cup should now lift.
Your cup will not lift if you try to pick it up at an angle or quickly, these
features help stop those accidental spills. It needs to be picked up within
easy reach, gently and vertically.
