Setting up the Device
This guide provides a brief description of time and attendance, and QR code
features. For more information, visit the Suprema webpage by scanning the QR
code and refer to the user guide.

Time and Attendance
- Press -> AUTHENTICATION.
- Select and set the desired item.
- T &A Mode: Set the method to use T&A mode.
- T &A Code: You can register for T&A events. Select T&A Code —+ to register a T&A event and set an icon, name of T&A event, and schedule.
- T &A Required: Set to require a user to select a T&A event when authenticating.
- T &A Fixed: Set to use only a T&A event selected by the administrator. This option can be used when Fixed is set for T &A Mode.
- Job Code: Select whether or not to use Job Code.
QR Code Authentication
Use QR code authentication in places that require fast and easy issuance and
retrievals, such as shared offices or public facilities.
NOTE
– You can issue QR codes to users on BioStar 2.
– Supported devices: XS2-QAPB, XS2-QDPB
