PIR Control

On the rear of the PIR are control dials:

  • Sensitivity Control – Provisionally turn the control fully anticlockwise. In this setting the PIR sensitivity is set to approximately 2m. Turning the dial clockwise increases the sensitivity up to a maximum of 10m.
  • Daylight / Lux Control – Provisionally turn the control fully anti clockwise. In this setting the PIR is inactive during daylight. At dusk, when the light level is at the desired level, adjust the dial clockwise until the Lantern turns on.
  • Time Control – Turn the dial fully anti-clockwise, the Lantern will stay on for approximately 10secs. Turn the dial fully clockwise, the Lantern will stay on for 7mins.

Manual Override
To override the PIR so that the luminaires stay on constantly, turn the power to the luminaires off and immediately back on twice (off-onoff- on) within 2 seconds. The luminaires will then stay on constantly. To return control to the PIR, turn the power to the luminaires off for at least 10 second and then back on again. The PIR will revert to Auto mode.
