IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Before using this product, it is essential to read the ENTIRE Owner’s
Manual and ALL installation instructions. The Owner’s Manual describes
equipment assembly and instructs members on how to use it correctly and
safely.
Read all warnings posted on the machine. Health-related injuries may result
from incorrect or excessive use of exercise equipment. Core Health & Fitness
strongly recommends you to encourage your members to discuss their health
program or fitness regimen with a health care professional, especially if you
or they have not exercised for several years, are over 35, or have known
health conditions.
WARNING:
to reduce the risk of serious injury to persons using this equipment, read and
follow all of these warnings:
- Assemble and operate the unit on a solid level surface. Position the machine with a minimum of 24 inches (0.6 meters) of clearance on one side to allow for ease of mounting and dismounting. Leave a minimum of 19.7 inches (0.5 meters) between two adjacent units. These dimensions are the recommended minimum distances. The actual area for access and passage shall be the responsibility of the facility and should take into account this training envelope, Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) requirements and any required local codes or regulations (www.access-board.gov/ada).
- This equipment is designed for use in a commercial gymnasium or health club. To ensure the proper use of the equipment in a safe manner, all users of the equipment should read this manual before using the machine. This machine should be made a part of your club training program in order that the equipment is used by your members in a safe manner as intended. In addition to instructing the club members in the proper use of the equipment,the club member should obtain a complete physical examination form their health care provider before beginning any exercise program.
- The safety and integrity of this machine can only be maintained when the equipment is regularly examined for damage and wear and repaired.It is the sole responsibility of the owner of this equipment to ensure that regular maintenance is performed. Worn or damaged parts must be replaced immediately or the equipment removed from service until the repair is made.
- Do not exceed the maximum allowable user weight limit of: 300 lbs. (136 kg.)
- Use only replacement components supplied by Throwdown®. Substitutes are forbidden and will void all warranties.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Keep children under the age of 13 away from this machine.
- Wear proper exercise clothing and athletic shoes during a workout. Avoid wearing loose clothing. Tie back long hair and keep towels away from the moving parts. Face forward at all times and never attempt to turn around while the machine is moving.
- Do not over exert yourself during exercise. Stop exercising if you feel pain or tightness in your chest, become short of breath or feel faint. If you feel pain or experience any abnormal symptoms, stop exercising and consult your health care provider.
- It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to properly instruct its end users and supervising personnel as to the proper operating procedures of all Throwdown® equipment.
- After assembly, a complete visual inspection, and test of the features and functions of the assembled unit must be made prior to use.

EXERCISES
UPPER BODY PUSH EXERCISES
BENCH PRESS
Flat, incline 30/45 degree
Setup: Set the bench in the flat position or incline the bench seat back by lifting the back of the bench to the desired incline. The bench press can be performed with a dumbbell in each hand. The bench press can also be performed using the resistance tubes attached to various attachment points along with the handle attachments.
Exercise: Lay on the bench with your back on the bench and your feet facing forward and your head rested on the cushion. Raise the weights above your chest with your palms facing your feet. Lower the weights towards your armpits then raise back to the starting position.
SHOULDER PRESS
Incline 60/70 degree
Setup:
Set the bench in the 60 or 70-degree incline positions by lifting the back
of the bench. The shoulder press can be performed using a dumbbell in each
hand. The shoulder press can also be performed using the resistance tubes
attached to various attachment points along with the handle attachments.
Exercise:
Sit on the bench with your back on the bench and your feet facing forward and
your head rested on the cushion. Raise the weights to shoulder height with
your palms facing forward. Raise the weights overhead and lower back to the
starting position.
CHEST FLY
Setup:
Set the bench in the flat position or incline the bench seat back by
lifting the back of the bench to the desired incline. The chest fly can be
performed with a dumbbell in each hand. The chest fly can also be performed
using the resistance tubes attached to various attachment points along with
the handle attachments.
Exercise:
Lay on the bench with your back on the bench and your feet facing forward and
your head rested on the cushion. Raise the weights above your chest with your
palms facing inward and your elbows slightly bent. Lower the weight to your
sides while maintaining the bend in your elbow. Raise the weights back to the
starting position.
UPPER BODY PULL EXERCISES
ROW
Incline 30/45 degree
Setup :
Set the bench in the 30 or 45-degree incline positions by lifting the front
of the bench. The row can be performed using a dumbbell in each hand. The row
can also be performed using the resistance tubes attached to various
attachment points along with the handle attachments.
Exercise:
Lay on the bench with your chest on the bench. Hold the weights in a neutral position with your arms extended towards the floor. Pull the weights towards your sides while squeezing your shoulder blades and back at the top. Lower the weights back to the starting position.
ONE-ARM ROW
Flat
Setup:
Set the bench in the flat position. The one-arm row can be performed with a
single dumbbell or kettlebell.
Exercise:
Rest a knee on the middle of the bench with the opposite foot on the ground.
Lean over and rest your hand towards the front of the bench and grab a weight
in the opposite hand. Pull the weight towards your side and lower back to the
starting position. Perform the same exercise starting by resting the opposite
knee on the bench.
REVERSE FLY
Incline 30/45 degree
Setup:
Set the bench in the 30 or 45-degree incline positions by lifting the front of
the bench. The reverse fly can be performed using a dumbbell in each hand. The
reverse fly can also be performed using the resistance tubes attached to
various attachment points along with the handle attachments.
Exercise:
Lay on the bench with your chest on the bench. Hold the weights in a neutral position with your arms extended towards the floor. Keeping a slight bend in your elbow, raise the weights out and up to shoulder height.
ARM EXERCISES
BICEP CURLS
Flat
Setup: Set the bench in the flat position. Bicep curls can be done sitting on the bench or standing with the use of dumbbells.
Exercise: Sit upright on the bench. Hold the weights down at your sides in a neutral position. Keeping your elbows at your sides lift the weights as you rotate your palms so they face up at the top of the exercise. Lower the weights back down to the start position.
TRICEPS EXTENSION
Flat
Setup:
Set the bench in the flat position. Triceps extension can be done sitting on
the bench with the use of dumbbells.
Exercise:
Sit upright on the bench. Hold the weight straight above your head with your
elbows close to your ears. Lower the weights by bending your elbows and return
to the starting position.
PLANK WITH SHOULDER TAPS
Flat
Setup: Set the bench in the flat position.
Exercise :
place your hands on the side edge of the bench shoulder-width apart.
Straighten your body, keeping your core tight and place your feet shoulder-
width apart. Slowly raise your hand to your shoulder by bending your elbow
while keeping your body straight. Return to starting position and repeat
alternating each hand.
RUSSIAN TWIST
Flat
Setup: Set the bench in the flat position. The Russian twist can be performed with a dumbbell, kettlebell, or slam ball.
Exercise:
Sit in the middle of the bench with your feet facing the front of the bench.
Lean your torso back about 45 degrees and raise your knees so your feet are
slightly above the top of the bench. Hold the weight slightly in front of your
chest and twist your torso to move the weight to your side. Return to the
starting position and repeat, alternating directions each time.
LEG EXERCISES
SQUAT
Flat
Setup: Set the bench in the flat position. Squats can be performed with a dumbbell, kettlebell, slam ball, or resistance tubing.
Exercise: stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart and hold the weight in front of your chest. Keeping upright posture squat down until your knees are at a 90-degree angle. Return to starting position.
STEP UP
Flat
Setup :
Set the bench in the flat position. Step ups can be performed with
dumbbells or resistance tubing.
Exercise :
stand at the back of the bench. Place one foot on the cushion and raise
yourself and stand on top of the bench. Step back down with the same foot.
Repeat by alternating feet.
GLUTE BRIDGE
Flat
Setup :
Set the bench in the flat position. The glute bridge can be performed with a
dumbbell or resistance tubes.
Exercise:
Sit on the floor next to the side of the bench with your back up against the
cushion and your feet rested on the floor with your knees at 90 degree angles.
Hold the weight on your hips and press your hips up until your torso is
parallel with the ground while keeping your knees bent at 90 degrees. Return
to the starting position.
MAINTENANCE

Working on this product will require basic and/or sometimes specialty tools based on the type of service that will be performed at any time. To assist, we recommend having the tools listed available when performing maintenance.

MAINTAIN ALL EQUIPMENT:
Preventative maintenance is the key to smooth operating equipment as well
as keeping the product in safe operating condition. Failure to conduct
preventative maintenance by the owner may cause the product to operate in an
unsafe manner. Equipment needs to be inspected and maintained at regular
intervals per the preventative maintenance schedule provided in this manual.
Cleaning
Keeping your Strength units clean is an important component of preventative
maintenance and the overall aesthetics of your product. While your clients
will appreciate clean equipment free of sweat, dirt and other contaminants
proper care and cleaning will extend the life of your product and reduce
premature aging and wear. See the maintenance schedule for recommended
frequency.
Inspection
Visual inspection of your units will insure a safe environment for your
clients and alert you to any issues that may require maintenance prior to
equipment failure. Proper, timely visual inspection is a critical component to
the long term care of your product.
- Fasteners, hardware and attachments should be checked monthly for looseness. Tighten as required using appropriate tools.
- Handgrips should be checked for wear or damage monthly and replaced as needed.
- Main frame should be inspected every six months for signs of unusual wear, corrosion or structural integrity issues.
- Also, upon inspection, if position selector pin cannot be fully engaged into the selector hole the product shall be marked out of service until an authorized service technician can evaluate the product for further necessary action.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
With durable, high performance components, this equipment is designed for heavy usage with minimal maintenance required. To keep it in top condition, perform regular daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance routines outlined below. The safety and integrity of this machine can only be maintained when the equipment is regularly examined for damage and wear and repaired. It is the sole responsibility of the owner of this equipment to ensure that regular maintenance is performed. Worn or damaged parts must be replaced immediately or the equipment removed from service until the repair is made.
