Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble connecting or setting up the system, please find the frequently asked questions below. If your issue is not described, then find the full FAQ on www.justklikkit.com.

How do I change the battery?
The Klikkit Button comes with a pre-installed battery – and it is ready to use.
If you need to change the battery, remove the silicone ring. Turn the battery door counterclockwise and separate the battery door from the button. Place the battery on the button on the positive side facing up toward you. Place the battery door on the button and turn clockwise to close it again. Put the silicone ring back on. It is not needed to pair the button again.
The Klikkit app and Klikkit Button(s) will not connect. What should I do?
Make sure that the Klikkit button has a fully charged battery and that it is installed correctly. To test this, click the Klikkit Button. If it does not light up, then install a fully charged battery as described in 5.1. Also, make sure that your device has Bluetooth turned on. Try to click again. If the button still does not work, then try to turn Bluetooth off
and then on. If it still does not work, try a hard reset, see 5.3, or contact customer support at support@justklikkit.com

I would like to reset my button(s) completely. How do I do that?
Press and hold the button for at least 10 seconds. When the Klikkit button is reset it will flash red twice. Be aware that a button reset deletes all stored clicks.
How do I use my Klikkit Buttons with the Klikkit Hub?
The Klikkit Hub (sold separately) and the app will au-automatically collect clicks from your Klikkit Buttons assigned to an activity. If you experience problems, make sure that the Klikkit Hub is installed correctly and has access to your Wi-Fi network.
The Klikkit Button flashes and sounds.
What does that mean?
The Klikkit Button uses specific lights and sounds patterns to indicate actions:

  • A click followed by a short beep and a green light indicates that the click has been registered.
  • If you set up the button to schedule reminders in the app, it will beep and light up every 10-20 seconds for 1,5 minutes.
  • If the button keeps flashing red, it indicates that an error has occured. Go into the Klikkit app and navigate to the ‘Settings’ menu and find the ‘Paired Buttons’ screen. Drag down on the screen to synchronize your buttons with your device. The app will tell which error has occurred and how to handle it.
