Installation
Battery installation:
- Open the battery cover on the bottom of the mouse.
- Insert 1 x AA battery into the mouse. Make sure that the battery is inserted in the right direction according to the marked polarity.
- Close the battery cover.
- To turn on, slide the switch to the ON position.
USB receiver installation:
Insert the USB receiver into a free USB port and wait for the drivers to
install automatically.
Bluetooth installation:
Before pairing, press the button at the bottom of the mouse to select whether
you pair the mouse using Bluetooth 5.0 (BT 1) or Bluetooth 3.0 (BT 2).
To pair the mouse with the device, hold the button at the bottom of the mouse
pressed for 5 seconds. After this time, the mouse changes to the pairing mode
and the indicator starts flashing faster.
Turn on the Bluetooth on your device. Select either CM04040 5.0 (BT 1) or
CM04040 3.0 (BT 2) depending on what type of Bluetooth your device is
compatible with.

Smart switch
This mouse has 3 connectivity options – Bluetooth 5.0 (BT 1), Bluetooth 3.0
(BT 2) and 2.4 GHz (USB-A nano receiver). Each of these options can be
connected to another device at the same time, and you can use smart switch
technology to switch which device you want to work with.
