Special Requirements

  1. Caution:User charging must be carried out in accordance with the instructions, otherwise consequences.
  2. Note: Original charger must be used;
  3. Note that the battery should be with a suitable charger , strictly prohibit mixing
  4. The charger should be placed in a ventilated environment.It is strictly prohibited to charge under confined space or hot sun and high temperature.The charger shall not be charged in the saddle or in the tail case.
  5. Charger use method, insert the battery plug first,then connect the power supply. After full charge, cut off the power supply first,then pull out the battery plug.
  6. When the green light is on, the power supply should be cut off, Which is prohibited in the case of no charge status that the charger to connect the AC power supply unload
  7. In the charging process, if the indicator light is abnormal, the odor smell or charger shell overheating should immediately stop charging,charger for repair or replacement.
  8. The charger in the use and storage,note to avoid material entry, especially be avoid water or other liquid entry,In order to internal short-circuit charger.The charger try not to carry on the e-scooter , if you want to carry should be in good damping treatment or put into the toolbox
  9. The device in the charger shall not be removed or replaced by yourself.

Folding & Adjustment

  1. Take the scooter out of box carefully
  2. 2.0pen the buckle,push down sleeve, lock the buckle.
  3. Unfold the scooter, install the handlebar, tight it with screw.
  4. Install the handlebar grip, adjust the switchs and brake.

How to start Power

  • Turn on: one short click on the power switch to open the scooter.
  • Turn off: 3 seconds long press to turn scooter off.
  • Change speed mode: open the scooter first, then 2 short click to change speed mode.
  • Turn on the light: open the scooter first, then 1 more short clicks to turn on/ off the scooter front light.
  • Change start mode: open the scooter first, then 4 short clicks to change zero/ no-zero speed start mode.
  • Change KM/H to MPH: open the scooter, then 6 clicks to change the speed unit.
  • Turn on cruise control function: open the scooter first, then 5 short clicks to on/ off the cruise control function, the cuise signal will light up on display, maintain the speed for 5 seconds, scooter will automatically enter the cruise control

DISPLAY

  • Speed display or error code
  • Speed mode: :6 click the switch to change KM/H or mph speed mode.
  • Cruise control signal: in the boot status, 5 click the switch to open/ off the cruise control function.
  • Light: in the boot status, one more click the switch to turn on the front and rear light.
  • Fault signal: If the scooter has an electronic fault, the fault light will turn on. You can check the problem on page 8 #6 Battery signal:To extend the battery life, it ’s better to charge the battery before 3 grids remain .
  • Speed mode: in the boot status, 2 click the switch to change speed mode, green light is ECO mode.
  • Slide mode:switch on the slide mode on the APP, you can accelarate by slide.
  • App signal: when the scooter connected the APP the signal light will turn to white.
  • GPS signal: if the scooter equiped with GPS, the GPS signal light will light up when GPS works.
  • Lock signal: scooter can be locked by APP, when locked the signal light will turn on.
  • Start mode: in the boot status, 4 clicks the switch to change zero/ non-zero start mode . How free the speed: in the boot status, 8 clicks to free/ limit the speed.

  • Search “Aerlang A” on Apple store or Google play to download the APP.
  • Open the phone Bluetooth, connect the scooter Bluetooth to enter dashboard.
  • In APP dashboard, there are switches for light, locker, speed mode, and shows the scooter speed, ODO, battery, controller current and temperature.AERLANG A10 10 Inch Foldable Electric Scooter 8
  • Click the lock button, set a password to lock the scooter, only enter password can unlock the scooter.
  • Click the setting icon on the right top corner of dashboard, to set the cruise controll, speed mode, start mode, accelarate mode.
  • The scooter is allow to upgrade firmware by APP, click firmware update to install newest firmware.

Battery charging

Please charge the scooter firstly before first useAERLANG A10 10 Inch

While charging, the light on charger will be red. When fully charged, the led indicator turn green. Please disconnect the plug in time. (The charging time is influenced by temperature)

Notice: please align the notch carefully.

Attention

Before you read the manual and learn the lithium battery e-scooter performance, please don’t use it

  1. Please don’t modify the thee-scooter, self-modification caused the safety performance and durability which do not belong to the warranty policy and which caused the accident not responsible, please pay attention.
  2. E-scooter should be ride on nonmotorized road, Please ride slow speed under rain, snow,fog weather and increase the braking distance.
  3. When riding, please wear helmets and other protective equipment,pay attention to ride safety.
  4. Please don’t lend your thee-scooter to the person who can’t operate it, please follows the trafic rules to ride
  5. The standard load (total weight of people plus e-scooter) is 200Kg, when the standard load exceeds 120Kg, the performance of the battery and the motor will be affected.
  6. Children and people under 16 years old, please don’t ride ,so as not to cause unnecessary damage.
  7. The battery is not allowed to approach the fire source and try to avoid close flammable and explosive places and contact with corrosive objects.
  8. Please don’t disassemble the battery case by your self to avoid damage due to the short circuit of the battery output terminal connector.
  9. It is strictly prohibited to connect the positive and negative for the battery to avoid unnecessary danger and lead to battery damage.
  10. The battery must be handled with care to avoid falling from the air and broke the case.
  11. The battery should be charged in a dry, ventilated environment, avoiding moisture, away from flammable and explosive atmospheres.
  12. The battery charging area should be kept away from the children’s play area.
  13. Chargers and battery packs can not cover any items, to avoid poor heat, damage the charger and battery

Safety Instructions for Riding E-Scooter

Please read carefully before riding

  1. Please read the carefully before riding, Check every parts of the e-scooter to ensure your safe riding, If you find any problem, please contact your distributor.

  2. Please comply with the city traffic law and be prohibited to carry person, rain and snow days and slip road should be slow drive and keep the safety brake distance.

  3. Thee-scooter which can ride under rain and snow day but can’t wading, When the water level submerges the motor, it may cause the motor to short circuit and burn the motor

  4. Please don’t disassemble e-scooter kits, if you want to replace or repair, please contact your distributor.

  5.  For the safety of other person, please don’t lend thee-scooter to the person who can’t to operate it.

  6.  Please check the battery have adequate electric power to ensure your mileage.To check the tyre pressure is normal and fasten the front and rear wheel bolts are locked. Nut tightening torque front wheel is not less than 18N.M and rear wheel not less than 30N.M. To insure the safety brake and please check the disc brake before riding.

  7. Please check thee-scooter fold handlebar, saddle tube is fasten to prevent loosening and lead to danger riding.

  8. Battery should be installed in the battery holder and to ensure the battery is locked to prevent shaking off.To check the horn, head ling is normal and to ensure safety riding.

  9. The insertion depth of the saddle pipe shall be no less than 2.5 times the diameter of the riser pipe (the depth of insertion shall not be exposed to the safety line of the saddle pipe). The saddle, the fastening nut of the saddle pipe and the tightening torque shall not be less than 18N.m.

  10. Before riding that the quick release parts must be fasten locked.

  11.  Thee-scooter stops driving or parking should turn off the power switch. If not promptly turn off the power switch, power display, controller, power brakes are working in electricity. If the power after continuous open three days, will cause no damage to the battery and the battery, when the battery is too low; when will no longer charge, direct cause damage to the battery. This will damage the power supply controller, open controller has been at work, so long to open the controller easy to damage.

  12. The battery use and waste may not fall into the water and heat, but not near the fire source, so as to avoid explosion. Waste batteries should not be abandoned, due to maintenance departments, so as to avoid the pollution of the environment.
    Charging Steps

  13. Please let the charger input connector insert the battery input connector and then make the charger plug insert power socket with 110-240V AC power to charge.

  14. The charger indicator light is red which means that the power is connected and start charging.

  15. When the charging indicator light from red to green that means the power is sufficient. Please unplug the AC power plug and then pull out the battery charge plug from battery case.

  16. Please to charge the battery after you ride and don’t discharge the battery when you over discharge which will shorten battery life and damage the battery.

  17. When you charge is placed in a safe place for children to come into contact with, should not be used without the full power of the situation. Do not use other brands of charger and other types of batteries also should not use this charger. The charger comprises a high voltage circuit, do not disassemble. Use and storage should be to prevent the internal liquid and metal debris into the charger beware, falling and impact, so as to avoid damage. The charger when charging, do not cover any items. The charger for indoor use, please use in the dry, well ventilated environment. When you smell the smell or in the charging process when the temperature is too high, please immediately stop charging and sent to the dealer. Repair.

E-Scooter Maintenance

Don’t let thee-scooter harm, such as don’t let the water flooded the motor controller. To the foot of tire, long time summer to avoid sun exposure, avoid high humidity, storage corrosion environment, the brakes are moderate

Regular maintenance of self inspection content

  1. Whether the front and rear wheel screws locked.
  2. Tyre wear and cracking. The pattern is before, after the tire pressure is appropriate, whether the smooth driving system.
  3. Whether the joint of each part normal:the brake cable is used in the lubrication state If you do not use the car for a long time, please pay attention to the regular charge (about two months apart) to maintain your battery

Maintenance Instructions

  1. Water is not allowed to be flushed so as to avoid accidents due to soaking
  2. Please use a neutral detergent, wipe the surface of the paint or plastic parts with a cloth and wipe it off with dry cloth
  3. Please wipe the metal parts using lubricating oil fore-scooter maintenance .•
  4. The place to be oiled: chain, flywheel, front and rear brake lines, front bowl (1-2 months oflast lubrication), no to the front and rear brakes, rim, tire oiling
  5. The frame, front fork and other parts are made of aluminum alloy. Please avoid collision and keep clean
