VDP210 – Quick Start Guide

The latest range of DoorKnox video entry products provides a mix and match system with a choice of door cameras and attractive video displays to suit any home or business reception area.
Serial numbers HCB00401 onwards have new firmware which provides new features to the DoorKnox system.

Note:

DoorKnox Monitors from serial numbers VDP207 (HCA01001) & VDP210 (HCB00401) cannot be used along
side existing DoorKnox Monitors with earlier serial numbers.

The mounting place is secure to the mounting surface and then the monitor slots on to it.
There is a large hold in the centre of the mounting plate to allow the cables to pass through.

DoorKnox Video Door Entry 10 inch Monitor

  1. Power Indicator
  2. Monitoring- Switch between camera inputs
  3. Door camera indicator shows which camera is being displayed
  4. Talk – Answer call
  5. Up -Volume up / Move up in menu system
  6. Unlock – Unlock door connected to camera being displayed
  7. Down -Volume down/ Move down in menu system
  8. Hang Up- End call / Return to previous screen / Cancel
  9. Settings – Enter menu system / Press again to make selection
  10. Microphone
  11. Transfer – Send call to other monitor(s) / Intercom
  12. SD card slot

Setting Monitor ID

Up to 6 DoorKnox Monitors can be used, t his means 1 Main Monitor and up to 5 Auxiliary Monitors.
The Main Monitor ID must be set to 1, and the Auxiliary Monitors ID range is set 2 to 6.

  1. Se lect Setting on the monitor

  2. Se lect Settings

  3. Go to System

  4. Set the Device ID, for Main Monitor (1) or Auxiliary Monitor (2-6)

Camera Switch

3. Go to System System
As default Door Cam 2 and CC1V (Aux iliary) Cameras are Turned off.

  1. Select Setting on the monitor

  2. Se lect Settings

  3. Go to Door Cams I CCTV Cams

  4. Select Channel, Then change Status in the list to ON
