User Manual
First of all, we would like to express our most sincere thanks to you for
purchasing our products.
Please read this manual carefully and use it correctly.
The warranty is enclosed in this manual, please keep it properly and take it
out for reading when necessary.
HX-HE1 infrared passenger flow counter is an ultra-small, battery-powered,
WIFI transmission passenger flow counting terminal, which provides a quick
deployment, simple and efficient passenger flow statistics solution for
various chain stores, supermarkets, and scenic spots, libraries, and other
places.

LED status indicator
Red indicator light: As an infrared focus indicator, when the passenger flow counting terminal cannot receive the infrared signal from the infrared transmitter, the indicator light flashes. Yellow indicator light: As a battery alarm and charging indicator, when the battery voltage is too low, the indicator flashes to remind you to charge or replace the battery. When the battery is charged through the USB interface, the indicator light is always on.
Blue indicator light: indicates WIFI network transmission or data storage instructions. -
Infrared receiving module: receiving infrared signals from infrared transmitters

Switching button: Touch through (touch-sensing antenna position) to wake up the OLED display. When the OLED display is on, the display content of the OLED display is switched every time you touch it.

OLED display: It can display the current power and product serial number, working parameters, working time, and start AP menu.
When there is no touch operation for more than 10 seconds, the display automatically turns off to reduce power consumption. -
Confirm button: The display content switches to the “Long press to start AP” interface, and long-press the confirm button for 5 seconds until the screen displays “AP is starting, please wait” and the countdown time is displayed, the device will enter the network configuration mode.

LED indicator
Red indicator light: As a battery warning indicator, when the battery voltage is too low, the indicator light flashes to remind you to charge or replace the battery.
Blue indicator light: As a self-check indicator, when the battery is installed, the blue light flashes 3 times and then goes out, indicating that the device is normal. -
Fast and slow speed switch: used to control the transmitter power, detect high and low-speed people flow switching, NO position is a high speed, 12 position is a low speed, after changing the position of the DIP switch, it needs to reinstall the battery to start to take effect.

Introduction to the screen display
The OLED display can be awakened by touching the light-transmitting bar
(touch-sensing antenna position) with your hand.
When the OLED display is on, the display content of the OLED display will be
switched every time you touch it, which can display:

Terminal configuration introduction
Passenger flow terminal opens AP mode
Switch the display content of the passenger flow counting terminal to the
“Long press to start AP” interface, press and hold the confirmation button for
5 seconds, the screen displays “Running” and the countdown time is displayed.
Connect to the passenger flow counting terminal
Turn on the smartphone wireless LAN, search the WIFI network, find a network hotspot named “HXZY”, join this network, and make sure that the network is successfully connected.
After the passenger flow counting terminal starts the AP service (WIFI
hotspot), if there is no mobile phone connected to the “HXZY” network within
30 seconds, the AP service will be automatically closed.
Therefore, you need to pay attention to the countdown on the passenger flow
counting terminal screen, and the countdown will restart every time you touch
it again.
If the mobile phone is connected to the “HXZY” network, the AP service (WIFI
hotspot) of the passenger flow counting terminal will continue to be
maintained, so there is no need to worry about the countdown time.
If there are other wireless devices in use or WIFI channel interference around
the current passenger flow counting terminal, it may fail to add the network,
you can try to add again until the network connection is successful.
Passenger flow counting terminal configuration interface
Open the browser, enter 192.168.8.1 in the browser address bar, and press
Enter (GO) to enter the passenger flow counting terminal setting page. The
initial password is 1234, you need to enter the password to log in before you
can select and set the content.
Single machine parameter configuration
The passenger flow counting terminal needs to enter the “single machine
parameter” configuration interface when it runs for the first time to
configure the business hours and data reporting period.
Networking configuration
If the data needs to be reported to the cloud platform, enter the “Network
Configuration” to configure the WIFI network name, password, and server
address provided by the store.
NOTE:
Before configuration, you need to prepare a smartphone with a WIFI function to
complete the subsequent configuration work.
Tip: The passenger flow counting terminal starts the AP service (WiFi hotspot
mode) is very power-consuming. It is recommended to complete the settings as
soon as possible and close the AP service in time.
The passenger flow counting receiving terminal is installed on the right side
of the pedestrian entering direction at the entrance and exit, the passenger
flow counting terminal USB interface is facing downwards, and the passenger
flow counting terminal infrared receiving unit faces the infrared transmitter.
Use the matching double-sided tape or screws to fix the passenger flow
counting terminal at a height of 1.2 On the wall or door frame of the left and
right meters, ensure that the passenger flow counting terminal and the
infrared transmitter can be aligned.
