VIGILATE VIGMS Wireless Motion Sensor User Manual

Operating Instructions

  1. Working principle
With digital dual-core fuzzy logic operative programming and intelligent analysis, it accurately detects human body movement with the infrared sensor and sends a signal to the main panel.

  2. Pairing with main panel by App
① Scan the QR code on the sensor.
② The pairing result can be confirmed in App.

  3. Product testing
① Power on, LED indicator would flash for 1s. It takes about 30s to do a self-check.
② To verify this product is installed properly, please walk in the sensing area to test.

Installation & Notice

  • Pull out and remove the battery insulative plastic strip.
  • Pair with the main panel using the App before installing.
  • Fix the bracket to the wall using the screws included, connect the sensor to bracket, adjust to the proper angle.
  • Recommended to install at a height of 1.8-2.2m from ground, with gradient 10°~20°.
  • Make sure there is no temptation for pets to pass by, like stairs, etc.
  • Indoor use only. Avoid installing the sensors in an area with strong light, rapid temperature changes, direct sunshine, heat source or the air stream flows frequently, like close to windows, air- conditioners, and under rotating objects.
  • Because the sensor is more sensitive to cross movement than vertical movement, it works best when the detecting direction is vertical to the people’s walking direction.
  • To ensure the device is working, please perform a walk test periodically, once a week recommended.
