CS TECHNOLOGIES CS8202 6 Channels Wireless Wiegand Receiver
Product Overview
The CS Technologies 6 channel Wiegand receiver is a long-range, high-security
RF receiver which employs KEELOQ® code hopping encryption technology. It
provides 6 output channels of 26-bit Wiegand protocol and connects to the
access controller in the same way as 6 separate card readers would. 2 and 4
button CS RF transmitters are available.
Note: Pressing buttons 1 + 2 at the same time will trigger channel 5.
Pressing 3 + 4 triggers channel 6. The receiver outputs the transmitters
26-bit number to the corresponds channel for each button pressed (1,2,3,4,5 or
6). This Wiegand ID information is then directed to the input on the access
control panel. There is virtually no limit for the number of keyfobs encoded
with Wiegand 26-bit code that can be processed by the receiver. The CS
Technologies wireless Wiegand receiver will only work with keyfobs encrypted
with KEELOQ® code hopping technology.
Note:
- Our range of CS Technologies keyfobs can be optionally supplied with embedded coils and programmed in HID, EM or Mifare format for further integration into your access control system.
- . All our Wiegand keyfobs are also compatible with our CS Technologies 6 channel standalone wireless relay receivers.
Installation and Setup
- For best performance it is recommended the receiver should not be installed on or next to a metallic surface. If the receiving distance is poor or you get interference from other devices you may improve this by relocating the receiver to another location.
- Connect receiver to a DC power source (12 – 24 VDC) and connect the Wiegand outputs (D0 & D1) from the receiver to the Wiegand 26 access control system. The Wiegand ID outputs of the receiver can also be connected in parallel with the output of any card reader to the Access Control System.
- All CS Technologies Wiegand 6 channel receivers are set for operation with Wiegand 26-bit code which is the most common for access control systems.
- Test the keyfobs and Wiegand Receiver with the access control systems.
