These short instructions may only be used by trained personnel who are familiar with the operating manual and the device. Observe the safety precautions.
Set temperature, mixing frequency and time
Switch off “PROG.” or “INTERVAL MIX” function (see below).
Use

set temperature, mixing frequency and/or time. To use the unit without any of
these three functions, press the arrow key until off appears.
Press to start the process. To finish the process, press “START/STOP” again.
After time has elapsed, mixing ends, however, temperature control continues.
Interval Mix
To switch interval mix on/off
Press for longer than 2 seconds. Control light will light when the function is activated.
To set up interval mix
Use to set temperature and total time.
Press to activate mixing phase.
Use to set the duration of the mixing phase.
Press to set pause phase.
Use to set the duration of the pause phase.
Press to start the interval function. The unit alternates between mixing and pausing until total time has elapsed. Temperature control is then continued.
Programming
Press for longer than 2 seconds. Control light will light when the function is activated. On the display, the box to the left of the temperature indicates the first step of the program.
Use to
set the parameters. Interval mixing function can also be used.
Press to switch to the step of the program.
Two boxes will appear on the display.
Use to

Press to switch back to the first step.
Press to start the process with the first step. The second step will start automatically after the first step is complete.
Short Mix
The device continues mixing with the set fequency as long as the key is pressed.
Press to set pause phase. to set the duration of the pause phase.
MIXER HC ACCESSORIES
Nine thermoblocks for tubes from 0.5 ml up to 50 ml and a micro / deepwell plate block with an adapter for use with 0.2 ml PCR tubes provide maximum flexibility at the bench. The Iso-Rack is ideal for time-critical applications and high throughput sample preparation. The Iso-Rack is supplied free with the 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml and 2.0 ml Thermoblock and is also available to purchase seperately.
