Speaker Instructions
Function diagram
Knob A: Press once to previous track. Long press 2 seconds for resetting
Bluetooth device and the speaker will enter into pairing mode. No knob
function available. Function available only in Bluetooth mode.
Knob B: Press once for next track, no knob function available. Function
available only in Bluetooth mode.
Knob C: Turn clockwise to increase the volume and vice versa. Press the
knob to mute and press for the second time to restore the volume.
Knob D: Press and hold 2 seconds to turn on/off. Turn counterclockwise to
turn off the sound sensor light and vice versa.
Charging
- If the LED indicator blinks in red, the device needs to be charged.
- Please use the DC to USB-A cable to charge the speaker.
- When charging the device during speaker on, the indicator will either light in blue or green. No other indicator will light or blink.When charging the device during speaker off, the ind icator will blink in green and goes off when it is fully charged.
- The device can be charged with the majority of smartphone chargers while using 5V/3A or 5V/2A charger will perform the best.
Power On & Off
Long press the Knob D for 2 seconds to turn on/off.
Connection
- Long press the Knob D for 2 seconds to turn on the speaker. The LED indicator lights in red when pressing.
- Then, the indicator blinks in blue and the speaker is in pairing mode.
- Search for ‘JBL Audio’ on your smartphone/tableUnotebook and pair with it.
- When the pairing is completed, the indicator will light up in blue. If you need to switch to another Bluetooth audio input device, reset it by long-press the knob A and pair it with ‘JBL Audio.’When using AUX audio input to connect the audio device, the keyboard will automatically shift to AUX audio input mode, and the LED indicator will light in green.
Light effect of the stereo
The sound sensor drives the lightbar on the keyboard. The brightness level corresponds to the volume of your speaker device (such as your phone). Higher the volume, higher the brightness level. Users are suggested to adjust the volume of their audio device to the maximum output value. The volume can be adjusted by using the knob to achieve different dynamic lighting effect.
Note: Keyboard and the speaker are two independent systems; they work and charge separately without interference.

Charging
Once keyboard battery is running low, the low battery indicator will start
blinking; please use the provided Micro USB cable to charge the product (the
keyboard is also compatible with the majority of Smartphone chargers).
When the keyboard is being charged, the LED indicator stays on and goes off
when fully charged.
Note: To ensure the stability of the transmission signal, please insert
the USB cable to the USB 3.0 port. Charging can be done in
Bluetooth/wired/off mode.
Power On & Off
Long press the Power Key for 3 seconds to turn on/off the keyboard in Bluetooth mode Please note that KnewKey keyboard can only be turned on/off in the Bluetooth mode. In USB mode, KnewKey keyboard will remain power on.

Energy-Saving Mode
In Bluetooth mode, backlights will turn off after 2 minutes of inactivity. KnewKey keyboard will go into sleep power saver mode after 10 minutes of inactivity. Users may press any key to wake up the KnewKey keyboard from sleep mode; the booting time may vary depending on the device.
System Compatibility
KnewKey is compatible with the MacOS / iOS / Android/ Windows; its hardware works with Bluetooth 3.0 standard. Users are recommended to upgrade the OS version or use a device with Bluetooth 3.0 protocol if a delay in keystrokes appears.
Note: Caps lock key, backlight on when inputting Upper Case. To restore factory setting, please use key and long press for 3 seconds.

Installation Method
① As shown in the figure, place the panel to the corresponding pedestal feet ( Side 1 against side 1, side 2 against side 2), tighten the bolt and screw.
② Tighten all 4 screws to complete the installation.
③ Place Rocksete flying stand on the rear end of the KnewKey JBL Speaker with
mechanical keyboard, then place your notebook on the top.
