Description

This cable by Delock can be used for connection of two computers. Thus, it is possible to transfer data in both directions with USB 3.0 speed. Furthermore, it can be used one mouse and one keyboard for both computers. Just by scrolling, the cursor from one to the other display the respective computer will be activated.

Driver Installation

Windows

  1. Switch on your computer.

  2. Connect the cable with the thick plug to the computer. The other plug will be not connected.

  3. The cable will be recognised automatically as a drive.

  4. If the installation does not start automatically please start following file: SmartDataLink.exe. You can find the file there: Computer > Smartlink (free
    drive letter).

  5. After the successful installation the inactive entry: “OTI 7300 Remote NDI6.0 Based Device” appears in the Device Manager > Network Adapter.

  6. Activate them by right-clicking on the entry and then select “Activate”.

  7. Repeat step 1 – 6 on the second computer, which will be connected by the cable too.

  8. You can now connect the cable with both computer and use it. Different settings can be set with the application “USB3 Smart Data Link” which you can find in the taskbar.

Mac OS

  1. Switch on your computer.
  2. Connect the cable with the thick plug to the computer. The other plug will be not connected.
  3. The cable will be recognised automatically as a drive.
  4. Open the drive and start the file: “U3MacKMLink”.
  5. Follow the instructions of the driver installation.
  6. If necessary, in the Security Settings > Privacy, the check mark for “U3MacKMLink” must be set.
  7. Repeat step 1 – 5 on the second computer, which will be connected by the cable too.
  8. You can now connect the cable with both computer and use it. Different settings can be set with the application “U3MacKMLink” which you can find in the taskbar.
