Setup
Please lay the tablet horizontally and align it with the magnetic strip above the keyboard. The tablet will automatically attach to the keyboard. Note: The keyboard does not support pin connection. If you want to use the keyboard function, please connect the keyboard and the tablet using Bluetooth. when using the Bluetooth.
Connection
- When using the keyboard for the first time, please charge it for 3-4 hours to ensure sufficient power
- Turn on the keyboard power : Keep pressing the keyboard power button for 3 seconds. (Charging light 9 shows red and turns of for 2 seconds, then turns off).
- Automatics pairing: the Pair light shows blue and keeps flashing which indicates the keyboard is under pairing mode.
- Open Windows Settings-Devices-Bluetooth & Other Devices-Add Bluetooth or Other Devices-Bluetooth. Search for” Bluetooth keyboard 5.1 V72 and click to connect.
- Your device is ready to go and the pair light turns off. if the keyboard is not used for 10 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. press any key and wait for 2 to 3 seconds for the device to reconnect automatically,
Key Board Features
Blacklit Instruction
- Make sure the keyboard is connected to the device.
- Single press the backlight key to switch the 3 levels of the backlight brightness.
- Press keys to switeh between 7 colors to adjust the backlight color.
- When the battery power is lower than 20%, the blacklight turns off by itself and should not be turned on.
- Note: Backlight Feature is only available on the backlight keyboard models.
Charge
- For the first use, please use the charging cable to make the keyboard fully charged.
- When charging, please check whether the charging port is powered normally.
- Note: Please do not charge the keyboard for long time. Keeping it plugged in for a long time will deplete the keyboard’s battery life.

Cleaning and Care for the Keyboard
To keep your keyboard looking and working great, please maintain good usage habits and pay attention to protecting the keyboard.
Keyboard and Outer Cover Care: The keyboard is relatively thin and light. Please be careful not to use it on uneven surfaces to avoid bending the keyboard. Wipe keyboard and outer covers with a lint-free doth dampened in mild soap and water Don’t apply liquids directly to the keyboard Cleanoften in this way to keep your keyboard cover looking great
Battery Care: Operating temperature: Keyboard is designed to work between o’C to 35°C Lithium batteries are sensitive to high temperatures, so keep your Surface out of the sun and don’t leave it in a hot car Recharge anytime: The battery doesn’t need to be empty or low before you recharge. You can recharge the battery whenever you like. However, do not keep charging for a long time, it will decrease the battery life.
Troubleshooting
About Keys Function
- Windows shortcuts cannot be used When you want to use the Windaw system shortcut keys, please use it with the Fn key, or click the FN button to lock the FN function. For example, if you want to use the F5 key to refresh the webpage, you can didk FN+F5, or click FN to turn off the FN function, and then dick F5 to refresh the website
- The keyboard does not work after a while If the keyboard is not used for 10 minutes, it will automatically enter sleep mode. Press any key and wait for 2 to 3 seconds for the device to automatically reconnect

About Touchpad Use
Please make sure that the touchpad function is turned on when using (Fn+Space).If the cursor jumps randomly, please wipe the touchpad with a lint- free doth dampened in mild soap and water. Keep your hands dry during use to avoid incorrect gesture recognition by the touchpad.
About Connection
The keyboard only supports BT connection, please make sure that the keyboard and tablet have been matched and connected before use. If the keyboard has a connection delay or typing delay.
- Fully charge the keyboard for 3-4 hours
- Delete al BT connections on the tablet to eliminate signal interference. Turn off the BT function and restart the tablet.
- Tun off and on the keyboard. Press “Fn+Z” to reopen the keyboard BT 4. Open the table BT and reconnect to the keyboard.
Error Checking
- Ensure the keyboard have enough power
- Bluetooth of keyboard and tablet should be on.
- The keyboard and tablet have been connected through Blue- tooth.
- Please pair Bluetooth again when windows is updating or the keyboard is not functioning
- The keyboard inputs the wrong letter(messy code, the letter of keyboard and button are not matched), please delete Blue- tooth and reconnect
- Clear that Connected Bluetooth device that has not been used for a while, then Reboot the device.
