To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, always
follow the instructions strictly.
- To prevent water immersion, the outlet must be mounted in a vertical position with the outlets facing downward and at least 2ft above the ground level.
- Do not immerse in water.
- Do not connect any devices which may exceed the maximum ratings of this smart outlet.
- Do not disassemble or repair the product, but only by authorized service personnel.
- Children are not allowed to use the smart outlet without supervision.
- To prevent children’s suffocation and choking, keep them away from packaging materials.
- Always unplug and store indoors when not in use.

Software Installation Guide
Download the “smart life” App: Scan QR Code or search “Smart Life” in Google
Play or the App Store to download and install the app.
Note: All pictures shown are for illustration purposes only, the APP will
be updated continuously, please refer to the latest APP interface to operate.
Register an account
If you don’t have an app account, register an account as follows steps:
- Open the app and tap “Sign Up” to enter the registration page
- The system automatically recognizes your country/ area. You can also select your country code. Enter the mobile number or E-mail and tap “Get Verification Code”.
- If you enter the E-mail, then enter the verification code in the mailbox, as shown in the picture, and enter the password, tap “Done” to finish your registration.
Note: Each device can only be connected to one account. If anyone else needs to control it, please share your device via the app.
Add device
- Plug the outdoor smart outlet into an wall outlet.
- Launch the “Smart Life” app and connect your smart outlet to your network.
Note: The smart outlet only supports a 2.4GHz network.
- Short press the power button on the smart outlet, and the RED LED power indicator will be ON/OFF correspondingly.
- Long press the power button on the smart outlet for 5-10 s, and the plug is
ready to enter the network configuration mode.LED Status| Function

For Optimal Use:
1) If the indicator on the smart outlet doesn’t flash when you plug into
the power outlet for the first connection, please hold and press the power
button for about 5-10 seconds to see if it starts flashing;
2) If the smart device can’t be connected to wifi, please long press the
ON/OFF button for 5-10 seconds to reset the smart outlet;
3) The smart device only works with a 2.4 GHz network. If your router
broadcasts both 2.4GHz and 5GHz, please selected the 2.4GHz network with the
app. If the connection still failed, we recommend you call your ISP and had
them completely shut off the 5GHz network on the router. You are free to
change the network to 5GHz again after connecting.
4) Please try to make the smart outlet and router as close as possible when
the first connection, you can change the place after connecting successfully
- Add the smart outlet
- Click the “+” sign at the right corner and then choose the “Socket(Wi-Fi)”.
- Select 2.4GHz Wi-Fi Network and enter your password.3)The smart outlet was added successfully and is ready for use.
Note: Please attention to “location information” on mobile that needs to be opened.
Timer Function
Select the”Schedule” or “Countdown” to meet your needs.
- Schedule: You can set the on/off time in a 7-day period with a 1-minute interval according to your needs. Every program you set repeats weekly. If you want to delete the schedule you set, please keep pressing the schedule, there will be a dialog box, tap “Confirm” and delete the schedule.
- Countdown: Tap “Countdown” to set the hours and minutes, and then tap the start button. The smart outlet will maintain the current state (on or off) until the end of the countdown. It will exit countdown mode automatically if you turn it on/off manually.
Work with Amazon Alexa
Link Smart Life account to Alexa
- Open your Alexa app, tap “Skills” in the menu, and then search “Smart Life” Select”Smart Life ” and tap “Enable” to enable the Smart Life skills.
- You will be directed to the account link page. Type in your “Smart Life ” account and password, don’t forget to select the country/region to which your account belongs to. And then tap “Link Now” to link your Smart Life account.
Control your smart devices Discover devices: Echo needs to discover your smart
devices before it controls them. You say “Alexa. discover devices” to Echo.
Echo will discover devices that have already been added to the “Smart Life
“app. You can also tap “discover devices” to discover the smart devices.
Discovered devices will be shown in the list.
Note: Every time you change the device’s name on the Smart Life app, Echo
must re-discover before you control them.
Work with Google Home
Add Device to Home Control
Open your Google Home app, and add the device to Home Control of the Google
Home app. Select “Smart Life”, and fill in the correct login information of
your account to finish the account linking. Your device will be shown in the
Home Control device list.

Troubleshooting and FAQ
- What should I do when can not turn the smart outlet on or off? Make sure your mobile devices and the smart outlet are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Make sure the devices connected to the smart outlet are turned on
- What should I do when the device configuration process has failed? You could:
- Check whether the smart device is powered on or not.
- Check whether your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Check your network connectivity. Make sure the router is working properly.
- If the router is a dual-band router, select the 2.4G network and then add the smart device.
- Enable the router’s broadcasting function. Configure the encryption method as WPA2-PSK and authorization type as AES, or set both as auto.
- Wireless mode cannot be 11 n only.
- Check for Wi-Fi interference or relocate the smart device to another location within the signal range.
- Check whether the router’s connected devices reach the amount limit. Please try to turn off some device’s Wi-Fi functions and configure the smart device again.
- Check if the router’s wireless MAC filtering function is enabled. Remove the device from the filter list and make sure the router is not prohibiting the smart devices from connection.
- Make sure the password of your Wi-Fi network entered in the App is correct when adding a smart device.
- Make sure the smart device is ready for App-Config: the indicator light is quick blinking blue (twice per second) for quick mode configuration, slow blinking blue ( once every 2 seconds) for AP mode configuration.
- Repeat the App-Config process.
- Factory reset the smart device and try to add it again.

DEWENWILS warrants this product to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
The warranty is void if the damage is caused by misuse or improper
installation.
