Wansview is a well-known name among budget-friendly cameras. The Q5 wireless security camera has a 1080p resolution, which has security for babies, elders, and pets. The camera features a large wide-angle lens, pan, tilt, and 4x digital zoom features. This allows you to monitor every corner of your place. You can control the camera remotely. It can be preset to four favorite positions as well for quick search. This camera works with two-way audio and night vision. It also supports Alexa.

The wansview security camera provides real-time alerts for safety. It can snapshot and record 10 seconds videos automatically when motion is detected. The alert videos recorded by the camera can be saved to an SD card and Cloud. The camera can be wirelessly accessed by multi-users and allows multi-views. It also offers SD cards up to 128GB and cloud storage.

Easy Set-Up

Step 1 Download
Go to the App Store or Google Play to search and download the “Wansview Cloud” APP to your supported devices.

Or please scan below QR code to download Wansview Cloud to your Android or Apple device.

Step 2 Account Register

1. Open Wansview Cloud App, then select Sign up.
   

2. Enter your email.
   

3. Create a password at least 8 characters long. Your password must include three of the following:

• At least one uppercase letter At least one lowercase letter. At least one number.
  

4. You will receive an email with your Activation Link. Open the link to activate your account.

5. Go back to log in to your account after activation is successful.
   

Step 3 Power on the camera

• Power on the camera with the supplied power cord and put the camera near to the router.

Step 4 Connect to a network

1. (Wi-Fi connection process for Q5/K5 are the same. Here we take Q5 camera as an example.)

• Connect your phone to 2.4G Wi-Fi (5G is not supported). Open the Wansview Cloud app. Please tap [Add a device], and choose your camera model(Q5/K5).
  

• If you see the flashing blue and red light on the back of the camera, please tap [Flashing]. If there is no blue light, please check the FAQ.
  

• You’ll see your Wi-Fi name, input the correct Wi-Fi password, and tap [Next]. The app will show a QR code, please put the phone in front of the camera about 3-8 inches, then please tap [Next] if you hear “QR code scanning is successful”.

• During connecting, the blue light will flash quickly.

Once it’s connected, the camera will say “Wi-Fi is connected” and the blue light will flash slowly. When the blue light is steady, the App will switch to a page where you can change the camera name. Now can enjoy the video from the camera!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

• The camera cannot connect to Wi-Fi?
  Please press the reset button on the camera for 5 seconds until the red light flashes quickly and the camera says “reset is successful”.
  Please wait for about one minute, then the camera will flash blue and red light alternately and you can reconnect it now
  

• What kind of SD card does this use?
  It supports a micro-SD card, which a max capacity of 128 GB.

• I get it to connect to the WIFI and then it fails to pair, what is it pairing that is failing?
  If the voice prompt announced WIFI is connected but the app shows “pair failed”, check the following:
  Connection of the router to the internet.
  The time of your phone is synced to local time.
  Reboot the router by unplugging and replugging.
  If it still fails, contact [email protected]

• Does this work with the SmartView app?
  No, it works with Wansview Cloud App.

• What internet speed is supported? Broadband 2.4 / 5 or only 2.4?
  It works on 2.4 wireless bands.

• Is a wall mounting bracket included with the camera?
  Yes, it is included with the camera.

• Can you disable the sound recording? It’s illegal in our state to record conversations “surreptitiously”.
  Yes, you can turn off the sound recording.

• Can you view all of the cameras at once?
  The Wansview app allows you to view 4 cameras at once.

• Does it support third-party software like Blue Iris?
  No, it works with Wansview Cloud App only.

• Does it come with batteries? Is it chargeable?
  No, it doesn’t come with batteries. It requires a power supply.

• Does this have a web GUI? HTTP, HTTPS, port 80, port 443, etc.
  No, it doesn’t have a web GUI function currently.
