Flight Environment Requirements
It is suggested to fly in areas below 9000 feet above sea level, choose an open field of 32 feet in diameter outdoor, far away from densely populated areas, residential surroundings and electromagnetic interference sources. Fly in an environment with temperture between 32° F to 102° F and in good weather with clear vision.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-

  • DO NOT use the aircraft in severe weather conditions including strong wind, snow, rain, and fog.
  • Only fly in open areas. Tall structures and large metal structures may affect the aircraft compass and GPS system. It is recommended to keep the aircraft at least 16ft away from structures.
  • Avoid obstacles, crowds,, trees, bodies of water and high voltage power lines.
  • Avoid areas with high levels of electromagnetism such as areas near base stations, electrical substations, power lines and broadcasting towers.
  • Fly with caution when taking off from moving surfaces such as a moving boat or vehicle.
  • Keep the aircraft at least 9.8 feet above the water surface when flying over water.
  • It is forbidden to fly indoors. Only fly in authorized areas.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-2 Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-3

Precautions and Maintenance for the Intelligent Battery

  • Please fully charge the battery for the first time before using it.
  • It is recommended to charge and discharge it once a month, do not store it fully charged, keep 50%-60% of the electricity, the storage temperature is 10-40° C, and the best storage temperature is 19-21°C.
  • Water enters the battery and the battery protection board fails, which will cause the battery to not be used normally. Do not use the battery in rain or in a humid environment, as this may cause the battery to self-ignite or even explode.
  • If the battery is squeezed, deformed, and dropped from a high altitude, it is forbidden to use it again.
  • Prohibition of prolonged high-temperature exposure. The high temperature of the battery will cause the internal pressure of the battery to be too high and cause an explosion.
  • If the aircraft has not been used for a month, the battery must be removed to prevent the battery from being in a long-term low-power discharge state.
  •  Use 5V/3A charging plugs. Fast charging plugs exceeding 5V/3A are prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to use computer USB, simple USB, and non-original charging cables for charging.  Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-5
  • • Please remove the battery in time after the aircraft has landed on low power to avoid battery damage caused by battery over-discharge.
  • It is forbidden to overcharge the battery, please remove charging cable in time after fully charged to avoid damage due to overcharge.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-6
  • DO NOT charge the battery immediately after theflight as the temperature may be too high. Wait until it cools down to room temperature before charging again. Due to the battery current output, slight hotness is normal while flying.

Pre-Flight Checklist

  • Make sure to read the manual and watch the guide video before the first flight.
  • Make sure that you go outdoor to an open aera to operate the aircraft.
  •  Make sure that the aircraft battery, remote control, and mobile device are fully charged.
  • Make sure that that the arms of the aircraft are fully extended. Make sure the intelligent flight battery is installed firmly.
  • Make sure that the camera cover was moved before turning on the aircraft.
  • Make sure that that nothing obstructs the motors.
  • Make sure the camera lens and sensor are clean and without stains.

6. Problems You May Encounter

  • Flight preparation <DThe aircraft direction Please pay attention to the direction of the aircraft when flying. The camera direction is the forward of the aircraft.
  • Make sure to fly outdoors in an environment with strong GPS signals.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-9

To Prevent Flying Lost

  1. Keep the aircraft visible for beginner. It is better for beginners to fly the aircraft within a real-time image transmission range on your phone’s App for safety.
  2.  Keep the drone GPS mode on. During the flight, DO NOT turn off GPS signal (Do not long-press button, otherwise GPS will be turned off), the Aircraft would fly unsteadily, or lose the direction, or will be lost completely.
  3. Return the drone timely. During the flight, if the picture freezes, the reason is WiFi disconnection, please RETURN the aircraft first, change to another new environment or check if there is interference around, then connect again.
  4. Reserve enough power for the drone to return home. When doing long distance flight test, please make sure to reserve enough power for the drone to return, escpecially in the windy weather, as the battery will be comsumed more quickly.
  5. Be careful when using emergency. ST6lP button on the transmitter is only for emergency stop. You can short press and then hold the button to stop the drone when it is at the altitude within 5-42 feet. Once activated, the drone motors will stop working immediately and fell to the ground.

Gimbal Camera Guidelines

  • Please take off the gimbal camera cover before flight.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-11
  •  Please take off from solid and level surface, don’t take off from grass or sand ground.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-12
  • Do not turn on the aircraft when it is on desk or hollow wooden floor. They will amplify the small vibrations into high-frequency vibrations, which will cause the gimbal cannot work.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-13
  • Do not interfere with the gimbal by external forces or pick up the aircraft during selfinspection (After compass and Gyroscope calibration, the gimbal will enter self-inspection for 20 seconds).Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-14
  • The Gimbal cannot work during the compass and Gyro calibration. Put the aircraft on a level surface after calibration, then the gimbal will start to work after 20 seconds.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-15

WIFI Guidelines

  1. For android phones, after connection with Aircraft’s WiFi “RUKO-GIM-“””””””, please wait for about 10-40 seconds, note if there is any option popping up about internet settings, make sure connected, otherwise, there is no picture after entering App.
  2. If still without WiFi connection, please turn on your phone’s airplane mode and connect aircraft WiFi.
  3. Make sure allow all the permissions required when connecting with a pp. If failed at connection, please go to the phone “setting” to allow all the permissions. Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-17

Cautions of Return To Home (RTH) feature

When flight distance within 98 ft
Please mind your drone’s flight altitude, make sure it flies higher than any other objects surrounding.
There are two common but must pay attention conditions can be listed as follows:

  • RTH with Sufficient Battery
If you enable the drone RTH feature by pressing the RTH button, the drone will keep the current altitude and return directly to the take-off point, the set return-altitude won’t take effect. You can control the drone with joystick, or cancel RTH by pressing the RTH button again.

  • RTH in Low Battery
If the RTH feature has been enabled because of extreme low battery, the drone will keep the current altitude and return directly to the take-off point, the set return altitude won’t take effect. The RTH can’t be cancelled, but you can adjust the landing position by moving the joysticks.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone

When flight distance further than 98 ft

The drone will first rise to the set return altitude then return to the take- off point, please mind your drone’s battery level, make sure it has enough battery to return, fly against the wind will consume more power.Ruko-F11-GIM2-Drone -with-4K-Camera-19
