Introduction

It is an 8 Gauge/ 20 Feet Red Power Cable with high quality Competition Fuse Holder. It has 3 feet – 8 Gauge Black Ground Cable. It has 16 Gauge/ 13 Feet Speaker Wire and 18 Gauge/ 16 Feet Blue Turn On wire. It contains 6 Foot Split Loom Tubing and 20 Feet High Performance RCA Interconnect. It also consists of (3) Rubber Grommets and (20) 4” Wire Titles.

HOW TO SET UP

First take the Power Wire them poke the wire inside the hole in grommet and pull the wire from the other side and tuck the wire in the little lip then zip tie it all together. make sure the wire does not heat up. Now place the wire all along the edges of the car doors. Take the Remote Wire, twist it and connect it with the other Remote Wire. Zip tie all the wires together. Repeat the same procedure for RCAs.

• Is 8-gauge wire enough for amp?
  Many amp kits are tagged with wattage ratings on them to attract you to buy them. 8 gauge is enough for up to 500 watts RMS. You should run 4 gauge for 500 to 1000 watt RMS range.

• What do I need to install an amplifier?
  You need a power wire, a ground wire, speaker wires, RCA cables, amp and speakers, remote turn on wires and connector plugs to matchhead unit.

• Can you install an amp without RCA jacks?

It will always be dim if you connect to either 12V switched wire or 12V constant wire. You can also attach a switch to it to tap the headlights switch or manually dim it if you want.

• Does it matter which wire goes where on a solenoid?
  If the wires are connected to a terminal, then it does not matter in which terminal you put the battery power cable.

• Does it matter which way a solenoid is wired?
  The small gauge wires on the larger terminal are same as the small gauge wires on the small terminal so it does not matter because it is not mentioned in the instruction manual

• Which is thicker 4 gauge or 8 gauge?
  The general thumb rule is that the cable will be thicker if the gauge number is smaller.
