GETTING STARTED
Some Reminders
- If the device was not placed in the upright position after transit and delivery, please keep it upright for 24 hours to make sure that the compressor can work properly.
- If the device can’t turn on or you encounter other problems for first time use, please contact us for help.
- Pre-cool the empty unit before using it to enhance system efficiency.
OPERATION
HOW TO USE THE REFRIGERATOR
Connecting with 12V or 24V
Connect the feeding cable to a direct current 24V DC power source.
-
* Make sure the polarity is right.
- If connected to an existing cigarette plug, please carefully check up that power supply is sufficient.
- If the supplied power cable is not used, please see the table containing the information related to the cable section: The Fridge/Freezer is designed to operate on DC voltage inputs.
DC input | 12V or 24V |
---|---|
DC cable | 2.5m,16AWG |
Connecting with 110-240V
Note: The Fridge/Freezer is designed to operate on DC voltage inputs
only. Use the supplied AC/DC adaptor to operate fridge on 240V AC.
- The coolers have an integrated multi-voltage power supply with priority circuit for connecting to an AC voltage source of 110-240V. The priority circuit automatically switches the cooler to mains operation, if the device is connected to a 120/240V AC mains, even if the 12/24V connection cable is still attached. In order to protect the freezer and cigarette socket, we suggest use with one power supply.
65L OPERATION
Switched-on/off
Connect the fridge to a power source and short press “ ” to turn on the fridge. Short press “ ” to power off.
Adjusting The Temperature
With the appliance turned on, short press the “ + ” button to increase the
temperature and the “ – “ to decrease the temperature. The highest temp is

Swapping Between Fahrenheit (°F) Or Celsius (°C) And Battery Protection
Settings
NOTE: To swap between C or F on the display you must have the fridge
plugged in and turned off.
- Step 1: Long press “ + ” and “ – ” buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to enter the advanced settings.
- Step 2: When the advanced settings appears, short press “ on/off ” button to cycle into PR (protection settings), or F/C function (Fahrenheit/Celsius switch mode).
- Step 3: With F/C showing on screen, short press “ + ” or “ – ” can convert Celsius to Fahrenheit. F refers to Fahrenheit, C refers to Celsius.
- Step 4: With PR showing on screen (protection settings), short press “ + ” or “ – ” to set the below voltage protection levels.
Battery Protection Level
What is Battery Protection Settings?
This function is designed to prevent over-discharge and battery depletion.
When the measured DC voltage is below the Cut-off value, the compressor will
shut off to prevent battery depletion. After the voltage is higher than Start-
up value, the compressor will go back to work again. Improper protection
setting or low-power battery may cause E1 error, please lower the battery
protection or recharge the battery in time.

TROUBLESHOOTING
POWER CUTTING IN/OUT
- The 50L and 65L fridges both have an inbuilt voltage meter on the main screen that shows the current voltage, however the 75L does not. Use the voltage meter to help troubleshoot circuit and battery faults.
- Your fridge has built in battery protection and needs a minimum 10.9V to start and 9.6V to continue operating.
- During operation a load is placed on the circuit and power supply and the voltage can drop by as much as 2V, many things can affect voltage drop, such as: increased resistance from long cables, or cables that are undersized or oversized for the application. Poor or loose connections can also increase resistance.
For example: The fridge turns on runs for 1 minute then turns off. The
likely problem is that the battery and wiring circuit have sufficient voltage
to start but when a load is applied (thecompressor starting) the voltage will
drop below 9.6 and the fridge turns off. This cycle will repeat as the load is
removed from the battery the voltage will begin to show 10.6 which is enough
to start the cycle again. Try to test fridge with 2 separate batteries before
raising a warranty claim.
NOTE: If the fridge is able to run on the AC/DC transformer the problem
is likely a faulty battery, wiring or connection.
COMMON 12V POWER SUPPLY ISSUES
Wiring
The standard wiring from the car battery to the 12V outlet may not be rated to
power the fridge.
Ensure the wire gauge is of sufficient size to supply the fridge’s current draw
over the length required.
If unsure, check with the vehicles instruction manual or, contact a local
automotive electrician for advice.
NOTE: Always fuse wiring with an in-line 15A fuse as close as reasonable
possible to the power source (i.e. the battery). Battery
The car battery could be old, undersized or have a dead cell causing too much
voltage drop. If the battery contains a dead cell it may still show that it
has voltage with no load applied. When a load is applied the cell will drop
and subsequently so will the voltage.
Connections
The 12V plug, car 12V socket or any of the connections between the fridge and
the battery could be faulty or have come loose since installation.
CADE | DESCRIPTION | ACTION |
