Curved design weather station with wireless outdoor sensor and clock with alarm function

LCD diaplay

Operation

  • Open the battery compartment cover at the wireless outdoor sensor.
  • Insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included) following the polarity marks “+” and “-“
  • Connect the included power supply to the weather station.
  • When you connect the power supply to the mains, all the icons on the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds, and a beep tone will be heard, detecting indoor temperature and humidity.
  • The weather station will now start the connection with the wireless outdoor sensor. This operation lasts approximately 3 minutes. An icon of an RF antenna will flash on the “OUTDOOR” sensor icon of the receiver.
  • After the receiver has created a connection to the wireless outdoor sensor, the device enters the clock mode.

Setting time

  • Press and hold for 2 seconds for the “MODE” button and the year 2012 starts to flash. Now use the buttons to set the correct year. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The Month display will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the month. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The Date display will start to flash. Now use the    buttons to set the date. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The Language display will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the language. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The Time zones display will start to flash. Now use the  buttons to set the correct Time zone. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The 12/24 hour mode display will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the hour mode. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The Hour display will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the hour. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • The minute display will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the minutes. Press “MODE” to confirm your setting.
  • Press “SET” to confirm your setting and to end the procedures of the setting. The clock enters the clock mode.

Note:
After 7 seconds without pressing any button, the clock switches automatically from Set Mode to Normal Time Mode.
Setting daily alarm
To set the daily alarm function:

  • Press and hold the “ALARM” button for 2 seconds until the alarm Time starts flashing.
  • The Hour display on the alarm will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the required hour. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting.
  • The Minutes display on the alarm will start to flash. Now use the buttons to set the required minutes. Press the “ALARM” button to confirm your setting.
  • The alarm time setting is complete. The clock will switch to clock mode.
  • To activate or deactivate the alarm function, press the ALARM key and the icon will appear or disappear indicating that the alarm is on or off respectively.

Note:

  • After 7 seconds without pressing any button the clock switches automatically from the setting mode to Normal clock mode.
  • The alarm will sound for 1 minute if you do not deactivate it by pressing any button. In this case the alarm will be repeated automatically after 24 hours.
  • The rising alarm sound changes the volume level 4 times while the alarm is ringing (crescendo, duration: 1 minute).

Snooze function

  • Press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button while the alarm is ringing to activate the SNOOZE mode. When the snooze function is activated, the “Z”‘ symbol appears in the display.
  • This operation moves the alarm back by 5 minutes and the alarm will be repeated at this time.
  • The Snooze function can be interrupted by pressing any button.

Temperature display

  • The temperature unit is switchable at °C or °F. You can change the unit by pressing the “ ” button.

RF Transmission Procedure

  • The outdoor sensor will automatically transmit a temperature signal to the Weather Station after the batteries are inserted.
  • If the Weather Station fails to receive a transmission from the outdoor sensor (“- -” display on the LCD), press and hold the ”   ” button for 3 seconds to receive transmission manually. RF icon ” ” will flash on the LCD.

Backlight

  • On the backside of the device, select the “ Hi or “Low ” position of the switch for high or low brightness
  • When the device is battery powered, press the “SNOOZE/LIGHT” button and the backlight will light up for 15 seconds.

Weather forecast

  • The weather station displays the following weather symbols:

  • The weather symbols indicate the weather forecast over the next 12 hours and not the current weather conditions.

Note:

  • Please note the weather forecast from your local weather forecasting service into account as well as the forecast from your weather station. If there are discrepancies between the information from your device and from the local weather forecasting service, please take the advice of the latter as authoritative.
  • The weather forecast is based on the evaluation of fluctuations in the barometric pressure and may deviate from the actual weather conditions.
