SW009 User Guide
Read all instructions before assembly and use.
Keep instructions for future use.
- Input Voltage: AC100-240 V
- Output Voltage: DC 6 V

- Ages: Children up to a weight of 25 lbs or unable to sit up unaided.
- Tools needed: Phillips head screwdriver (not included).
- Requires 4 “AAA” (1.5 V) batteries (not included).
- Adult assembly required.
WARNING
Failure to follow these warnings and the assembly instructions could result in injury or death. Before each use and assembly, inspect swing for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use swing if any parts are missing or broken. Contact Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed. DO NOT use any replacement parts not provided by Dorel Juvenile Group. DO NOT substitute parts or try to modify the product in any way. Parts not provided and approved by Dorel Juvenile Group may result in an unsafe product.

WARNING
FALL and STRANGULATION HAZARDS: Infants have suffered head injuries falling from swings and have strangled in straps.

ALWAYS use restraints. Adjust to fit snugly.

STOP using product when infant attempts to climb out (approximately 9 months).

ALWAYS place swing on floor. Never use on any elevated surface.

Stay near and watch infant during use. This product is not safe for sleep or unsupervised use. If baby falls asleep, remove baby and place in a crib, bassinet, play yard, or bedside sleeper.

SUFFOCATION HAZARD:
Young infants have limited head and neck control. If the seat is too upright, infant’s head can drop forward and compress the airway. -
NEVER lift or carry infant in swing.

The toys are intended for visual stimulation and are not intended to be grasped by the infant.

Remove toys when infant can grasp them.

Assure toys are attached securely to product according to the instructions. Check frequently.

DO NOT add additional strings or straps to attach the toys to the swing.

Canopy is a possible entanglement injury. Keep out of baby’s reach. Remove canopy when infant can grasp toys.

Keep These Instructions for Future Use

- Lay out and identify all parts.
- Remove all contents from packaging and discard box, and/or poly bags.

Assembling Your Swing
Installing the seat to the base bracket
To assemble: Align seat post on bottom of frame with the “O” shape
component on base bracket.
Insert seat post into opening on base bracket. You will hear a “click”.
Pull up gently to ensure seat frame is secured to base bracket.
To disassemble : Press button and pull up on seat frame to remove from
base bracket.
Installing the Canopy
- To install: Attach the clamp to the right location of the frame on both sides.
- To remove: Pull the clamps out on both sides to release the canopy.
WARNING
NEVER grab the canopy of swing to lift or carry infant.
Using Your Swing
Using Pillow
Installation:
Attach the pillow to the retaining ring at the top of the seat frame and press
the hook and loop fastener on the pillow strap.
Removing:
Pull the hook and loop fastener from the pillow strap and remove the pillow.
Motion Lock / Unlock
- To lock seat frame and stop movement, push the lock to the right.
- To unlock seat frame and allow movement, push the lock to the left.
Using Restraint Straps
WARNING
-
NEVER LEAVE THE CHILD UNATTENDED. ALWAYS keep the child in view when in swing.

AVOID SERIOUS INJURY from falling or sliding out. ALWAYS use seat belt. Check frequently to make sure it is secure.

Belts must be threaded exactly as shown (Figure d).

Failure to follow these instructions could result in the serious injury or death of your child.

Pull up on the harness buckle cover to open.
-
Press the center button on the crotch buckle while pulling the waist buckle tongues out of the crotch buckle.

Place your child in the swing, with the crotch strap between the child’s legs. Fasten both buckles.

Tighten waist and shoulder straps snugly around your child.

Shoulder straps: To tighten Push up on the lower strap at (A), feed through the adjuster and pull up on upper strap to remove slack (Figure e).
To loosen
Push down on upper strap at (B), feed through adjuster and pull down on lower strap to remove slack (Figure e). -
Waist straps:
To tighten
Push up on lower strap at (C), feed through adjuster and pull up on upper strap to remove slack (Figure f). -
To loosen
Push down on upper strap at (D), feed through adjuster and pull down on lower strap to remove slack (Figure g).

using the control panel
- Power: Plug AC adapter into swing and wall outlet, or use battery power.
- Press power button to start the swing.
- You will see the indicator light illuminate.
- Press the power button once more to turn swing off.
- Music button : Press the button to play the built in
continuous music.
- Press it again to turn the sound off.
- Music Button: Press button to play the next song.
- Volume Up: Press button to increase the volume gradually.
- Volume Down : Press button to decrease the volume gradually.
- Speed Settings: Press this button to adjust the swing speeds. There are five speeds with indicator lights. The default timer is set to 15 minutes.
- The swing angle adjusts automatically with each speed setting.
- Speed 1 = Swing angle 8° to 12°
- Speed 2 = Swing angle 12° to 16°
- Speed 3 = Swing angle 16° to 20°
- Speed 4 = Swing angle 20° to 24°
- Speed 5 = Swing angle 24° to 28°
- Timer: Press button to set the swing timer. There are 3 different settings.
- 1x = approximately 15 minutes swing time
- 2x = approximately 30 minutes swing time
- 3x = approximately 45 minutes swing time Small indicator lights show the time. The default setting is 15 minutes when the machine is turned on.
Remote Control Battery Installation
WARNING
This product contains button or coin cell batteries. A swallowed button or coin cell battery can cause internal chemical burns in as little as two hours and lead to death. Dispose of used batteries immediately. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If you think batteries may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.To remove battery, press flexible tab and slide battery compartment open.
Remove battery. Discard battery properly.
Button cell size: CR2025 3V (x1) LITHIUM BATTERY.
Using Remote Control
- Power on/off
- Time setting:
- Press 1x: 15min
- Press 2x: 30min
- Press 3x: 35min
- Repeat steps for cycle changing.
- Built-in music/Bluetooth music:
- Press:
- Press the Blue/Music button to play built-in songs.
- Press and hold the Blue/Music button to activate blue tooth model.
- Once the Bluetooth mode is active, use your cell phone to search the Bluetooth and then use it.
- Volume up
- Volume down
- play/pause: just for pre-recorded songs
- Previous song: just for pre-recorded songs
- Next song: just for pre-recorded songs
- Five swing speed buttons Stop swing: Press this button to stop swing.
- To resume swing, press any of the 5 speed buttons.
Using Your Swing
- DC plug can be inserted into 100-240V~ 50/60Hz AC power supply.
- Adapter output parameters: voltage is 5V and current is 1A.
WARNING
STRANGULATION HAZARD
- Children have STRANGLED in cords.
- • Keep this cord out of the reach of children.
- DO NOT remove this tag.
Battery Installation
- Locate battery compartment door on bottom of base bracket (Figure a).
- Using a Phillip’s head screwdriver, unscrew the battery cover and remove (Figure b).
- Install 4 “AAA” alkaline batteries. Place battery cover back and screw it tightly (Figure c).
BATTERY CAUTION
- Keep these instructions as they contain important information
- We recommend alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
- DO NOT mix old and new batteries.
- DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
- Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
- Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the unit before being charged.
- Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
- Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
- Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
- Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the unit.
- The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
- Check that all contact surfaces are clean and bright before installing batteries
- DO NOT submerge any part of the product in water.
- Dispose of batteries safely.
- Remove batteries when stored for long periods of non-use.
CAUTION
To prevent battery leaks, which can burn skin and eyes:
- Always replace the entire set of batteries at one time.
- Never mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
- Remove batteries when storing product for a long time.
- Dispose of used batteries immediately.
- Use only AAA(1.5V) batteries.

Wash and Care
- Base bracket & seat frame: Clean with wet cloth and a mild detergent. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT use corrosive cleaners.
- Seat fabric: Clean with wet cloth and a mild detergent. Air dry.
- Canopy: Remove it and hand wash with mild detergent. Rinse with clean water. Air dry. Avoid sun exposure.
- Pillow: Pull the hook and loop fastener off and remove the pillow. Hand wash with mild detergent. Rinse with clean water. Air dry. Avoid sun exposure.
Maintenance
- Please check this baby swing regularly. Make sure each part is well connected and well installed. Stop using for poor connection and connect/install it again if necessary.
- This product contains electronic components, which shall not be used in water or in a humid environment. Please ensure the pro-duct is dry, and store it in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunshine for a long time.

One (1) Year Limited Warranty
Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. warrants to the original pur-chaser that this
product (Tranquility Swing) is free from material and workmanship defects when
used under normal conditions for a period of one (1) year from the date of
purchase. Should the product contain defects in material or workmanship Dorel
Juvenile Group, Inc., will repair or replace the product, at our option, free
of charge.
Purchaser will be responsible for all costs associated with packaging and
shipping the product to Dorel Juvenile Group Consumer Care Department at the
address noted on front page and all other freight or insurance costs
associated with the return.
Dorel Juvenile Group will bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced
product to the purchaser. Product should be returned in its original package
accompanied by a proof of purchase, either a sales receipt or other proof that
the product is within the warranty period.
This warranty is void if the owner repairs or modifies the product or the
product has been damaged as a result of misuse. This warranty excludes any
liability other than that expressly stated previously, including but not
limited to, any incidental or inconsequential damages.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EX-CLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDEN-TAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER
