SENSSUN iN-12 Series Smart Nutritional Scale

DEAR USERS:

Thank you for using our Smart Nutritional Scale. Please read and keep the manual to use the scale correctly.
This series of products can help you save and keep track of nutritional information on your smart device. The scale transfers data to a smart device via Bluetooth technology and also can draw the tendency of nutrient intake to check the nutrition intake status at any time.
You’ll get the first step on dietary management with our App and scale.

TO REPLACE BATTERY

1.5V (AA/AAA) batteries(excluded) Open the battery cover. Install new batteries by putting one side of the battery down first and pressing down the other side. (Please observe the polarity)

The display differs from one to another, so the above icons are indicative only.

BUTTONS FUNCTION

NOTE:

1. The above buttons are indicative only.
2. The UNIT button for some items is at the bottom of the scale, please set the unit there if needed.
3. Buttons are indicative in this manual.

MODE / UNIT CONVERTION

Press the UNIT button to convert the mode or unit you need after turning on the scale. The mode or unit can be converted circularly.
Note:

1. The UNIT button for some items is at the bottom of the scale, please set the unit there.
2. The unit system of scale depends on the scale destination or the requirement of the distributor.

WEIGHING

1. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface. Put a bowl (if any) on the scale.
2. Press the ZERO button to turn on the scale.
3. Press the UNIT button to convert to weighing mode.
4. Load a weighing object on the scale(or bowl) to start weighing. LCD will show the weight reading.

VOLUME MEASURING

1. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
2. Press the button to turn on the scale.
3. Press the UNIT button to convert the mode to Water or Milk volume mode.
4. Put a container on the scale.
5. Press the button for Zero or Tare.
6. Pour the liquid (water or milk) into the container. LCD will show the volume of the liquid.

ZERO & TARE FUNCTION

You can weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale.
Put the first load on the scale, get a weight reading. Press the button to reset the display reading to “0” before adding the next load. You can repeat this operation.

Condition 1: “ZERO” function
When the total sum of all loads on the scale is≤4% of the scale’s max.weight capacity:
LCD will show “- – – -” or “0g” each time is pressed. “- – – -” means not stable, please wait for a moment.
“0g” and meanwhile an icon “o” on the LCD means the ZERO function is activated. Max. weight capacity remains unchanged.

(For example:
When capacity is 5kg, 4% is 200g;
When capacity is 10kg, 4% is 400g)

Condition 2: “TARE” function
When the total sum of all loads on the scale is>4% of the scale’s max. weight capacity:
LCD will show “- – – -” or “0g” each time is pressed. “- – – -” means not stable, please wait for a moment.
“0g” and meanwhile an icon “T” on the  LCD means the TARE function is activated. Max. Weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all loads.

(For example:

• When capacity is 5kg, 4% is 200g;
• When capacity is 10kg, 4% is 400g)

Under this condition:
You can recall the total weight of current loads during the weighing, by pressing the button. If you want to continue the weighing, just press to reset the display to “0” again.

WARNING

OVERLOADED WARNING
When LCD shows “Err”, it is overloaded ( Max capacity is shown on the product), please take off the loads to prevent damage to the scale.

LOW BATTERY WARNING
When LCD shows “Lo”, battery power is low, please replace it with a new battery (ies)

AUTO-OFF (BATTERY POWER SAVING MODE)

If there is no operation or weight change in several minutes, the scale will be auto-off.If there is no operation or weight changing in several minutes, the scale will be auto-off.

MANUALLY SHUT OFF

To maximize battery life, press and hold this button for seconds to turn off the scale after using.

ADVICE FOR USE & CARE

1. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/corrosive cleaner. Keep the scale in a cool dry place.
2. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices, vinegar, and strongly flavored/colored foods. (Avoid contact with acids citrus juice.)
3. Always use the scale on a solid, flat surface, keep the scale unmoved when weighing.
4. This product is a precision instrument, please handle it with care; Do not strike, shake or drop the scale.
5. If fail to turn it on, please check whether the battery(ies) are installed or battery power is low.
6. Keep away from high temperatures, do not strip the scale arbitrarily.
7. This product can’t be discarded as household garbage and should be sent to collection points for electrical and electronic equipment.
8. Designed for family use only, not for commercial use.

APP INSTRUCTION

1. Get the App
   • a. Scan the QR code on the right side to obtain the App.
   • b. At the “App Store” or “Google Play”, search the keyword “Nutribalan” to download.
2. Bluetooth setting
   • a. Turn on the Bluetooth and Location on the smart device
   • b. Turn on the scale
3. Create a new user
   • Run the App, and finish the registration and personal profile.
4. Weigh and measure
   • a. Turn on the scale
   • b. Put the food on the scale, search the food in the App
   • c. Save the weight and nutrients of the food
   • d. If it fails to find the food in the App, you can customize it.
5. Review history
   • You can view the history data, various nutrient intake analyses, daily nutrient intake analyses, and so on.
   • For further information, please refer to the instruction in App.

FQA

The App can not synchronize the data from the scale

• Please ensure the connection between smart device and scale is on
• Please ensure the Bluetooth function on the smart device is on
• Please ensure the scale is powered on and within the valid range of signal coverage
• Check whether the battery power is running low, please replace it with new batteries
• Relaunch the App
• Reboot the smart device and re-establish the connection with the scale

Bluetooth connection failed

• Please ensure only one device is setting up a connection with a scale
• Please ensure your device is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 or above
