Jamming
Facing a jamming event
To ensure that the equipment operates with optimal performance as well as to prevent jamming, avoid the following:
- Counting bent or damaged coins or tokens
- Counting any type of foreign object like clips, staples, paper, nylon, rubber bands, etc.
If any jamming occurs, the machine will stop counting and the turning plate will move in the opposite direction to remove the jammed object by itself.
In case the unit is unable to remove the object itself:
- Please turn the power switch OFF and make sure that the unit is disconnected from the power outlet.
- Proceed to open the service window located on the back of the unit to gain access to the coins plate.
- Inspect the coins plate and remove the obstruction.
- Return the service window to its original position.
- Connect the unit back to the power outlet and turn the power switch ON.
- Confirm that the unit is now working properly.
- If the issue persists, contact our technical support agent for further assistance.
Daily Maintenance
To ensure effective and error-free operation, as well as to extend the life of the unit, it is recommended to perform the following on a daily basis:
- Turn the power switch OFF when the last count has been completed.
- Clean the Hopper coin plate and the coin track (use a brush and an air duster to do so).
- If you realize the unit is not performing as usual, or you are experiencing technical problems, please contact your local dealer for technical support.
