The type of AC socket varies in different countries and regions. The picture above is for illustration only. Please refer to the actual product. The DC power switch also functions as an SOS button. In the event of an emergency, simply press and hold the button for 5 seconds or longer to activate the SOS signal via the AmpAura App (please ensure that the product is paired with the app beforehand). As a visual indicator, the LED stripes of the product will begin to flash rapidly. The AC ports and RV ports have a combined maximum power capacity of 3600 W. The total power load should remain below this limit.

Operation Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Press the main power button to turn on the device and the LCD screen will light up. Press and hold for at least 1.5 seconds to turn off the device.
  • After the main power is turned on, short-press the main power button once to turn off the LCD screen. The product defaults to 30 minutes of standby time, you can set the standby duration in the app.

Portability

  • With a rugged, luggage-like handle, the Purea 3 can be wheeled around with ease and offers two modes.

Four-wheel Mode

  • To extend the handle, release the unlock switch on one side of the product and then push the handle button on the other side.AMPAURA-2BFE7PUREA3-Purea-3-Portable-Power-Station-FIG-1 \(12\)
  • Four-wheel mode is best suited for use on paved surfaces.
  • It is recommended to engage the front wheel brake when the power station is stationary.
  • When stationary or in motion, the product should not be tilted more than 10° to either side, as it may cause the handle to break.

Two-wheel Mode

  • To extend the handle, simply push the handle button.
  • It is recommended to use the two-wheel mode for grassy or unpaved surfaces.

Important Notes

  • In case of a tip-over incident, do NOT attempt to use the handle to upright the product to avoid handle breakage.
  • Do NOT release the handle unlock switch while in motion in the two-wheel mode to prevent accidents.
  • AmpAura takes no responsibility for any consequences caused by failures to follow instructions.

Adjust Charge Speed

  • Press the charge speed switch to toggle between fast and slow charging mode.

AC Charging

  • AC charging offers 1440 W of max input power. You can control the charging power through the AC charge speed switch.

  • In case of unusual situations where the AC input current remains higher than 20 A or the AC input voltage remains higher than 120 V, the overload protection switch on the product will automatically pop up and disconnect the input power.

EV Charging

  • EV charging offers 3000W (240V) or 1900W (120V) of max input power.
  • You can connect the EV charging cable to one end of the EV charging adapter, and then plug the other end of the adapter into the Purea 3.

Solar Charging

  • Solar charging offers 1200 W of max input power. You may link up to three units of 400 W solar panels in parallel to achieve maximum input power.

Car Charging

Expansion Battery

  • A Purea 3 can link with up to nine expansion batteries for extra capacity.
  • Each battery offers 3.84 kWh of capacity. It is important to note that both the Purea 3 and expansion batteries must be turned off before you connect/disconnect them.

Parallel Power Station

  • The Pure 3 is parallel capable, meaning that you can link two units together to double the output power (7200 W) and capacity (7.68 kWh).
  • To achieve this, simply connect the parallel connecting ports of both units to the parallel connecting hub and you are good to go. No muss, no fuss.
  • Once the setup is complete, the parallel connection indicator will be displayed on the LCD screen.

Usage

  1. Before using the product, carefully read and understand the user manual provided by the manufacturer. Familiarize yourself with the product features, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  2. The product is for indoor use only and no outdoor use is allowed under any conditions.

  5. Do not disassemble the product in any way or pierce the product with sharp objects.
  6. Keep the product away from water, moisture, or any other liquids. Exposing it to water can cause electric shock, damage to the components, or complete failure of the unit.
  7. Ensure that the product is used in a well-ventilated area. Avoid covering or obstructing the vents, as it can cause overheating and reduce the lifespan of the unit.
  8. When not in use, store the product in a clean, dry, and cool area. Avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures (e.g., direct sunlight, freezing temperatures), as it can affect its performance or cause irreversible damage to the battery.
  9. Utilize the cables and connectors that come with the product or those recommended by the manufacturer. Using incompatible or faulty cables might result in electrical hazards or damage to the unit.
  10. Do not drop, crush, or subject the product to excessive force. Mishandling can damage the internal components, leading to electrical failures or safety hazards.
  11. This product is not recommended for powering medical emergency equipment related to personal safety, including but not limited to medical grade ventilators (hospital version CPAP: Continuous Positive Airway Pressure), artificial lungs (ECMO: Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation). It is essential to follow your doctor’s instructions and consult the manufacturer regarding any restrictions on using this equipment. If using this product with general medical equipment, please ensure you monitor the power status to prevent power depletion.
  12. Prevent the product from coming into contact with flammable materials, such as gasoline, solvents, or aerosols. These substances may catch fire or explode if they are exposed to electrical sparks or high temperatures.
  13. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance guidelines, such as cleaning or inspecting the product periodically. This helps identify any abnormalities, loose connections, or signs of wear and tear that may affect safety or performance.

Disposal Guide

  1. Never throw the batteries of the product in the regular trash or discard it in the environment. The batteries contain potentially dangerous chemicals that can harm the environment if not disposed of properly.
  2. When possible, fully discharge the battery before disposing of it. Follow your local regulations for proper battery disposal or recycling.
  3. If the battery cannot be fully discharged due to product failure, contact a professional battery recycling company for further advice.

Storage & Maintenance

  1. Ideally, the product should be used and stored in an environment with temperatures between +20°C (+68°F) to +30°C (+86°F). Keep it away from water, intense heat, and sharp objects. To ensure optimal conditions, avoid storing it in temperatures exceeding +45°C (+113°F) or below —10°C (+14°F).
  2. For long-term storage, we advise discharging the product every three months. Begin by discharging it to 0%, fully recharging it, and finally discharge it to 60%. It’s important to note that if the product remains uncharged or undischarged for more than 6 months, the warranty will not cover it. Following this maintenance routine will enhance its longevity and performance.
