Getting Started

Turn on Switch

Turn on transmitter first and then turn on receiver.
Turn on the transmitter switch and the LED battery indicator will light up.
Turn on the receiver. Press and hold for 2-3 seconds to switch on.
The Red LED will show if the installed AA batteries have sufficient charge.
The Red LED will flash if the batteries need replacing.

Transmitter Operation

Reverse operation:

Steering Trim Setup

Turn steering trim to set tires in completely centered position.

Speed Switch

The speed switch is a throttle limiter. Turning the switch all the way down reduces the top speed to 40% of maximum speed. Turning the switch up increases the speed up to 100%

Steering Reverse Switch

If the vehicle turns right when you steer left and turns left when you steer right, flip the “Steering Reverse” switch.

Turning R/C Unit Off

Turn off receiver first, then turn off transmitter.
If you switch off the transmitter first before the R/C car, you may lose control of the R/C car.

Disconnect the battery when you are not running the vehicle.
The vehicle may run out of control or the battery can overheat and cause a fire.

Headlight Installation

  1. The headlights are included in the box and not installed on the car.
  2. Take out the headlight, the zip ties, and the adhesive tape from the box. (See Photo 1)
  3. Insert the headlight plug into the slot on the ESC/Receiver. (See Photo 2)
  4. Apply the adhesive tape to the headlight board and stick it on the upper deck as shown in Photo 3.
  5. Gently insert the headlights into the slots on the back of the front bumper. Make sure they are securely in place. (See Photo 4 and 5)
  6. Arrange the wires and bind them up with the aid of the zip ties. (See Photo 6)

Maintenance after driving

Proper maintenance is very important. After running, clean the chassis and check all moving parts for damage. If any parts are broken or damaged, repair or replace them before the next run. Regular maintenance is necessary to prevent damage to the car and maintain its performance.
Completely remove all dirt and debris from the vehicle, especially in the suspension, drive shafts and steering parts. Inspect each part and screws for loosening, missing parts or damages.

Trouble Shooting

A.The vehicle does not work at all:

    C. The throttle works but not the steering:
  8. Check if the servo feels jammed, and try centering it gently if it does.
  9. Check if the servo link is loose or if the servo is defective. Repair or replace if possible.
    D. The vehicle steers, but there is no throttle control:
  10. Check if there are damaged parts in the overall drive train.
  11. Check the battery power both for radio controller and the car.
    E. The vehicle dives noisily:
  12. Check gear mesh between spur gear and motor pinion.
  13. Check if there are stripped and/or dirty gears.
  14. Check for any damage to any part throughout the drivetrain.
