Installing Your Strip Light

Preparation Before Installing
- Unpack the box and check whether all items are intact;
- Power on the strip light to check whether it works well.
- Connect the DC wires to the power brick;
- Fix the DC wires on the engine compartment near the battery;
  (Notice: Do not fix on the part that easily gets hot.)
- Connect positive DC wire (red) and negative DC wire (black) to correct poles of the engine.
8 Installing Steps
- Wipe off the installing surface. Make sure it’s clean, dry and smooth;
- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape and stick the strip light;
  (Notice: Do not move the strip light to other places once attaching.)
- Remove air bubbles between the strip and surface by pressing the strip from end to end, and fix the fastener by screws to the strip;
- Power on the strip and start to use it.

Downloading the Govee Home App

Download the Govee Home app from App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
Notice: You need a smartphone running iOS 9.3 (or above) or Android 4.4 (or above).

Connecting the Strip Light to the App

Turn on Bluetooth in your mobile phone;
Open the Govee Home app and tap”+” icon in the top right corner;
Select “H6185” in the device list;
