COMPONENTS AND HOW TO USE THE TOY
The package includes: the electronic base for the product (FIG.1/a), 4 main
characters (FIG.1/b), 6 supporting characters (FIG.1/c), 5 background elements
(FIG.1/d) and 5 oval bases (FIG.1/e).
The background elements (FIG.1/d) can be inserted in the slots on
the electronic base (FIG.2), the 6 supporting characters (FIG.1/c) are to be
inserted in the triangular areas (FIG.3), the 4 main characters (FIG.1/b) are
to be inserted in the round central base (FIG.4). This product was created to
develop children’s language skills, listening skills, creativity and attention
span and to teach them to position elements in the correct chronological order
as they listen to and create stories.
Modes of play
- Meet the characters: insert just one of the characters (main character or supporting character) on the electronic base and press PLAY (FIG. 5) to hear the presentation for that character.
- Find the character: the product asks the child to insert one of the main characters (FIG.1/b) and 2/3/4 supporting characters (FIG.1/c) in a given chronological order; after-ward, by pressing PLAY (FIG. 5), the product tells a story. For the product to work correctly the characters must be inserted properly and in the chronological order specified. Every time a character is inserted the product will indicate whether the action completed is correct. This encourages the child to follow the requested order.
- Build the story: the child selects one of the 4 main characters (FIG.1/b) and inserts the character in the round central base (FIG.4). Pressing PLAY (FIG.5) starts a story about the given character. Every time the story mentions another character, the child will need to insert the new character for the story to continue. If the character mentioned is one of the main characters (FIG.1/b), which can only be inserted in the round central base (FIG. 4), the child will need to remove the previous character placing the new character on the central base instead. Every time a character is inserted the product will indicate whether the action completed is correct.
- Create your own stories: the components of the product can be used without the electronic base to create lots of stories from the child’s own imagination. To use the back-ground elements, assemble them (FIG.1/d) on the oval bases (FIG.1/e).
To select the language for the product, press the globe-shaped button and hold for 3 sec-onds (Fig. 6).
