PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Instructions have timing requirements. Waiting too long between steps may result in your vehicle’s computer timing out, requiring you to start over. Once you begin the pairing procedure, be sure to move at a quick and even pace.
PAIR CODE 1
- Insert a working key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (without starting the engine) 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. The door locks will cycle to confirm pairing mode.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. The door locks will cycle to confirm pairing.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the second remote. The door locks will cycle to confirm pairing.
- Repeat step 3 for any additional remotes.
- Turn the ignition to OFF. Locks will cycle again to indicate the end of pairing mode.
- Test all remotes.
PAIR CODE 2
- Insert a working key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (without starting the engine) 4 times within 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition OFF. The LED in the clock/trip computer will light up continuously to confirm pairing mode.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. The LED in the clock will flash 4 times to confirm pairing.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on second remote.
- Repeat step 5 for any additional remotes.
- Turn the ignition to RUN (without starting the engine). The LED will turn off to indicate the end of pairing mode.
- Test all remotes.
PAIR CODE 3
- Close all doors.
- Open the driver’s door and press the UNLOCK button on driver’s door panel.
- While the door is open, insert a key into the ignition.
- Turn the ignition from OFF to RUN (without starting the engine) 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. The door locks will cycle to confirm pairing mode.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on the first remote. The door locks will cycle to confirm pairing.
- Within 20 seconds, press any button on second remote. The door locks will cycle again to confirm pairing.
- Repeat step 7 for any additional remotes.
- Turn the ignition to OFF. Locks will cycle to indicate the end of pairing mode.
- Test all remotes.
