PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS

Go to the COMPATIBILITY LOOKUP list. Write down the PAIR CODE for your vehicle’s make, model, and year

PAIR CODE:

Instructions have timing requirements. Waiting too long between steps may result in your vehicle’s computer timing out, requiring you to start over. Once you begin the pairing procedure, be sure to move at a quick and even pace.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
All existing, working remotes must be present during the pairing process. Once you pair a remote, all previous remotes will be erased from the memory. The others will not be functional until you pair them again

PAIR CODE

PAIR CODE 1

Buick Century, Buick Regal, Oldsmobile Intrigue

  1. Close the vehicle doors.
  2. Insert key into ignition and turn to ON (as far as you can without cranking the engine).
  3. Turn ignition OFF and remove the key from the ignition.
  4. Press and hold the driver side door lock switch in the UNLOCK position.
  5. Insert and remove key from ignition 2 times (do not turn the ignition key).
  6. Insert the ignition key into the ignition (do not turn the key) and leave key in ignition.
  7. Release the door lock switch. The vehicle will sound three beeps in order to verify the PAIRING MODE has been activated.
  8. Press the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons together on the keyless entry remote and hold until the vehicle beeps twice to verify paired (this takes up to 30 seconds).
  9. Perform the previous step to pair up to four remotes (including your old ones).
  10. Remove the ignition key in order to exit the PAIRING MODE.
  11. Test all remotes.
PAIR CODE 2
  1. Buick Rendevous, Pontiac Aztek
  2. Get into vehicle and close all doors.
  3. Press and hold the UNLOCK button on door lock switch on driver’s door. Hold until instructed to release.
  4. Insert and remove key from ignition 2 times.
  5. Insert key in ignition a third time and leave key in ignition (do not turn the ignition key).
  6. Release door lock switch on driver’s door panel. A chime will sound 3 times indicating that you are in PAIRING MODE.
  7. Press both the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote and hold until V2.0221the vehicle beeps twice to verify paired (this takes up to 30 seconds). Repeat this step if you are pairing additional remotes. 7.
  8. Remove key from ignition to exit PAIRING MODE.
  9. Test all remotes.
PAIR CODE 4
  1. Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, Hummer H3
  2. Close all vehicle doors.
  3. Insert key into ignition.
  4. Press and hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver’s door panel until instructed to release in Step #9.
  5. Perform Steps #5 through #8 in fairly rapid succession.
  6. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine).
  7. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  8. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  9. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  10. Release the power UNLOCK button on the door panel. The vehicle will LOCK and UNLOCK the doors automatically.
  11. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote simultaneously until the door locks and unlocks. This step may take up to 30 seconds.
  12. Repeat step #10 NOW for each additional remote (including any existing remotes).
  13. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position in order to exit pairing mode.
PAIR CODE 7
  1. Chevrolet Venture, Oldsmobile Silhouette, Pontiac Grand Prix, Pontiac Montana
  2. Remove the key from the ignition. Remove the BCM program fuse (or MALL PGM program fuse, if equipped) from the fuse panel. Use the legend on the fuse panel to properly locate the program fuse. Fuse panel is accessed by opening the front passenger door.
  3. Close all of the doors.
  4. Close the liftgate (if equipped).
  5. Insert the key into the ignition, and turn to the ACC position.
  6. Turn the key to OFF and then back to ACC within 1 second.
  7. Open and close any vehicle door. A chime will be heard when the system enters into PAIRING MODE.
  8. Press and hold the remote LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. After 7 seconds, a chime MAY be heard. However, it is necessary to continue holding these buttons for approximately 14 seconds, when a final chime will be heard, confirming successful pairing.Repeat Step #7 for any other remotes.
  9. Remove key from ignition.
  10. Replace program fuse that was removed earlier.
  11. Test all remotes
