Installation Precautions
- Check local surveillance laws before installation.
- Install only according to these instructions. Improper installation can create hazards.
- Do not overreach when installing this product. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control in unexpected situations.

- Keep the installation area clean and well-lit.
- Keep children and bystanders out of the area during installation.

Use Precautions

Camera Safety Warnings

To prevent electric shock, do not attempt to disassemble the Camera. There are no serviceable parts inside.

Use supplied Power Adapter only.

The Power Adapter must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce the risk of electric shock.

Do not expose the Power Adapter! to rain or wet conditions. Water entering the Power Adapter will increase the risk of electric shock.

Do not abuse the Power Adapter cord. Never use the cord for unplugging the plug from the outlet. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges, or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

Handle the Camera with care.
The camera could be damaged by improper handling or storage. -
People with pacemakers should consult their physician(s) before use. Electromagnetic fields in close proximity to the heart pacemaker could cause pacemaker interference or pacemaker failure.

Have your Camera Equipment serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.

Grounding
WARNING
TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK AND DEATH FROM INCORRECT GROUNDING WIRE CONNECTION:
Check with a qualified electrician if you are in doubt as to whether the
outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the Power Adapter plug provided
with the Camera. Never remove the grounding prong from the plug. Do not use
the Camera if the power cord or plug is damaged. If damaged, have it repaired
by a service facility before use. If the plug will not fit the outlet, have a
proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
- The included Power Adapter does not require grounding.
- The Power Adapter may be used in either of the 120-volt outlets shown in the preceding illustration. (See Figure A)

Installation Instructions
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
WARNING
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK:
Unplug the Power Adapter from its electrical outlet and verify that the
installation surface has no hidden utility lines before drilling or driving
screws.
Components
Before Mounting
- Test that the Camera functions properly by connecting it to the Power Adapter and AC outlet.
- After testing the Camera, plan mounting location and angle:
a. Consider the distance of the AC outlet to the Power Adapter and Camera. Use the Extension Cable if necessary. Route the Cable so as to avoid a tripping hazard.
b. Choose a location high enough so that it is out of reach of children, but still covers the desired viewing area.
CAUTION! The Power Adapter MUST be plugged in indoors in a clean, dry location.
c. Verify that the installation surface has no hidden utility lines before drilling or driving screws.
d. Avoid mounting the Camera upside down. Make sure the Hood is above the Lens.
e. Make sure no strong light will shine directly into Camera Lens.
3. Using the Base as a template, mark the locations of mounting holes on the mounting surface.
Note : Route Cable through Notch on the Base to keep the Base flush with the mounting surface while marking holes.
Mounting
Note: Drill bits and Drill are sold separately.
Solid Surface
- Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the Screws, drill pilot holes into the marked locations.
- Position the Camera so that mounting holes align with the pilot holes.
Note Route Cable through the slot on the Base to keep the Base flush with the mounting surface.
3. Drive Screws through mounting holes in the Base and into pilot holes until the Camera is securely attached to the mounting surface.
Hollow Surface

Using a drill bit the same diameter as the Anchors, drill holes in the marked locations.
-
Tap Anchors into the holes until they are almost flush with the mounting surface.
-
Position the Camera so that Mounting Holes align with anchor holes.
Note Route Cable through the slot on the Base to keep the Base flush with the mounting surface. -
Drive Screws through mounting holes in the Base and into anchor holes until the Camera is securely attached to the mounting surface.
Camera Adjustment

Using a screwdriver (sold separately) loosen the Position Screws (one on each side) and rotate the Camera as needed so that the recorded image is properly orientated. Once
aligned, tighten the screws securely. -
Loosen the Vertical Screw and tilt the camera up or down. Once the Camera is aligned, tighten the screw securely.

Loosen the Horizontal Screw and pan the Camera left or right.
Once the Camera is aligned, tighten the screw securely.
Note : Only loosen Adjustment Screw slightly, do not remove it.
Cable Connections
CAUTION! Route the Power Adapter/Extension Cable so as to avoid a tripping hazard.
- Connect the Power Adapter to the Camera.
- Connect Power Adapter to the 120 VAC outlet using the Extension Cable if necessary.
CAUTION! The Power Adapter MUST be plugged in indoors in a clean, dry location.
Operating Instruction

Refer to the NVR instructions for operating the camera with the NVR.

To synchronize the Camera to the NVR, pull back the cover on the Sync Cable and press the Sync Button.
When finished, close the cover securely. -
The Camera will operate continuously while the Power Adapter is plugged in.

When not using the Camera, unplug the Power Adapter from its electrical outlet.
Inspection, Maintenance, and Cleaning
**** Procedures not specifically explained in this manual must be performed only by a qualified technician.
WARNING
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK:
Unplug the Power Adapter from its electrical outlet before inspection,
maintenance, or cleaning.

PERIODICALLY , inspect the general condition of the Camera. Check for:
• loose hardware,
• damaged cord/electrical wiring,
• cracked or broken parts, and
• any other condition that may affect its safe operation. -
PERIODICALLY, wipe the external surfaces of the Camera with a clean cloth.

Maintain the area surrounding the Camera, making sure obstacles don’t interfere with visibility, such as overgrown bushes.
Troubleshooting
