Installation
The machine is delivered in a wooden case. The machine should be placed on a
level surface and secured by bolts through the four base plate holes.
Check the following functions:
- A) The belt moves freely.
- B) The belt does not touch the grinding supports.
Belt tracking
- When first starting the machine, the belt may not run centrally on the contact wheel. This is corrected by turning the tracking adjuster (50):
- Clockwise – Belt moves towards the left.
- Anticlockwise – Belt moves towards the right.
Changing the belt:
- Switch off the machine
- Ensure the belt is at a complete standstill.
- Remove the handle(80) which on the side cover(15)
- Open the up cover (20) and side cover(15).
- Slacken the belt by turning sleeve(75) to let the sliding support(56) moving left.
- Replace the belt. Note correct direction of rotary of the belt.
- Tighten the belt by turning sleeve(75) to let the sliding support(56) moving right.
- Run the machine, meanwhile adjust bolt(49) and nut(50) to let the belt running well.
- To adjust bolt(60&63) and nut(64) only after the machine is completely disassembled and need to reinstall. Normally the belt is adjust well when the machine is after factory settings, there is no need to touch these two spare parts.
Machinery general safety warnings

For safety, machine must be set up, used and serviced properly.

Read, understand and follow instructions in the operator’s and parts manual which was
shipped with your machine. -
When setting up machine:

Always avoid using machine in damp or poorly lighted work areas.

Always be sure machine is securely anchored to the floor.

Always keep machine guards in place.

Always put start switch in “OFF” position before plugging in machine.
- Always wear protective eye wear when operating machinery.
- Wear proper apparel. No loose clothing or jewelry which can get caught in moving parts. Rubber soled foot wear is recommended for best footing.
- Never leave the machine running while unattended. Machine shall be shut off whenever it is not in operation.
- Never brush away chips while the machine is inoperation.
- Keep work area clean. Cluttered areas invite accidents..
- Use only recommended accessories and follow manufacturer’s instructions pertaining to them.
- All visitors should be kept at a safe distance from the work area. Make workshop completely safe by using padlocks, master switches, or by removing starter keys.
- When setting up the machine, make sure the motor is rotating as the arrow on the machine.
