Warning and safety precaution

Read these instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future use.

  • Before connecting the power plug, check that your voltage corresponds to the rating plate on the appliance.
  • Supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should not use this appliance.
  • Please handle carefully the blades as they are sharp.
  • Never let the appliance operate unattended.
  • If the plug or power cord is damaged, or the appliance is defective, do not try to repair it, but contact our technical service.
  • Use of accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
  • Do not use the appliance if its cord, plug or anything else is damaged.
  • Make sure the cable does not become entangled or in the way during use
  • Do not plug in the appliance until it is fully assembled and always unplug it before disassembling the appliance or touching the blade.
  • Do not use the appliance for more than 1 minute and do not use it longer than 10 seconds while preparing hard food.
  • The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed on the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Do not process more than three batches without interruption. Let the device cool down to room temperature before continuing processing.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
  • This appliance is intended for household use only.
  • Do not immerse the blender, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Store the appliance in a safe and dry place when not in use.

Carefully read the warning and safety precaution. Check the product for any visible damage. If any, contact japproducts as soon as possible.

Usage / Hand blender

Before using this appliance please assemble it following the instructions below step by step.

  1. Insert the plug in a suitable wall plug.

  2. Insert the headpiece with four blades into motor unit, turn clockwise to lock it into motor unit. (Fig. 2A)

  3. Put ingredients in the beaker with lid, to avoid splashing, immerse the blade guard completely in the ingredients.
    note : You can use the immersion blender in the cup and just as well as in any other container. (Fig. 2B)

  4. Switch on the appliance by pressing ON or MAX.

Usage / Chopper

The chopper is perfectly suited for hard food, such as chopping meat, cheese, onion, herbs, garlic, carrots, walnuts, almonds, prunes etc.
WARNING: The blades are very sharp, be careful when handling the blade unit.
Note: To crush ice, swap the sharp blades for ice crushing blades (component 7).
WARNING: Do not crush ice with the sharp blades.

  1. Place the correct blade (sharp or ice crushing) in the chopper bowl and press down the blade unit. (Fig. 3A)
  2. Place ingredients in the bowl, solid ingredients should not exceed 2 cm each.
  3. Place the lid of the chopper on the chopper bowl, make sure its closed. (Fig. 3B)
  4. Connect the motor unit into the chopper bowl, turn clockwise to lock it into motor unit. (Fig. 3C)
  5. Switch on the appliance by pressing ON or MAX.

Usage / Whisk

The whisk is intended for whipping cream, whipping egg whites and mixing sponges and ready-made desserts.

  1. Insert the whisk into the whisk coupling unit. (Fig. 4A)

  2. Connect the motor unit into the whisk coupling unit, turn clockwise to lock it into motor unit. (Fig. 4B)

  3. Switch on the appliance by pressing ON or MAX.
    Note: Use the MAX after approx 30 seconds to prevent splashing.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Unplug the appliance and remove the accessories before cleaning the appliance.
  • Use soft, dampened clean cloth to clean the appliance. Dry afterwards with a dry cloth.
  • Never spill any liquid or immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
  • If ingredients cannot be easily rinsed off the blades or whisk, add a drop of dish soap into the mixing bowl with water. Plug it into the socket. Immerse the headpiece and let the device run for about 10 seconds. Unplug the appliance, rinse under running water and dry.

Disposal of electrical appliances

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed-out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly. Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

Support and warranty

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, proof of purchase is required. The product must be in the perfect physical condition and has followed given guidelines. The warranty will not cover the following situations:

  • The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
  • The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by japproducts.
  • Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
  • The warranty service covers every manufacturing defect of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
