After turning on the Kick scooter, you will see the following display on the screen: (Notice: this device is not support Bluetooth function.)

Mode Indicators
Long press the switch button for 3 seconds to turn on/off (all indicator lights will be on, then restore the default settings). Press the adjustable gear button to switch to the lamp after booting. After booting, the total mileage is displayed, and the single mileage is restored. The default setting is KM/H in booting status. You can switch to MPH mode in three quick clicks on the gear button (KM/H is KM/hour); MPH is mile/hour). The device will shut down automatically 10 minutes after no operation.

Power Button

  1. To turn on the scooter: Press and hold the Power Button for 3 seconds;
  2. To turn on the headlight: Press the Power Button two times
  3. To switch riding mode: Press the Power Button one time.
  4. To switch the km/h to mph: Press the Power Button three times.

Driving Instructions

Please wear helmet and other protective equipment, such as knee protection.

  1. Turn on the kick scooter to check whether have enough battery for your ride.
  2. Stand on the pedal with one leg, hit the ground with another leg.DIFERZA DRIDER 8 MAX Foldable Electric Scooter-fig10
  3. When stepping on both legs, press the accelerate button.
  4. To slow down your speed, loose the accelerate. Energy recovery systems will turn on by itself to slow down. Press the left disc brake tightly if want to brake urgently.
  5. Lean your body left slightly when turning left. Lean your body right slightly when turning right. Please turn the handlebar slowly while turning around.

Safety Recommendations

  1. Electric scooter – it is a device for entertainment. Electric scooter is not a vehicle. However, scooters can bring certain risks when riding around. For safety concern, you must read the user manual before riding it.
  2. You should understand when riding a scooter in public area, you must comply with all recommendations for safety. Do not forget that there is a possibility of collision. Violation of pedestrians or vehicles traffic rules and improper operation of the device will increase the risk of injury. The higher the speed of electric scooter, the greater the braking distance. Emergency braking may cause higher risks, especially on a slippery road. Therefore, it is necessary to be alert all the time. Please use an appropriate speed and keep a safe distance from pedestrians and other vehicles when riding your scooter.
  3. Be caution to pedestrians and children when riding your scooter. Reduce your speed rate and leave enough space when passing by them.
  4. Please strictly follow state and federal road rules while riding. Violation of the above rules may result financial expenses, personal injury, occurrence of traffic accidents, legal disputes, conflict and other unpleasant situations. Our company does not responsible for any direct or joint and several liability.
  5. All others should read this user manual before you allow them to ride your electric scooter.
  6. Please inspect your scooter carefully each time before your use. If you find shattered parts, bad battery life, broken tires, wired sounds when turning or other abnormal symptoms, please stop use the scooter immediately and contact us.

Fold and Transportation

Make sure the scooter is turned off. Hold the front pole, lose a lock lever and lower a steering rack. Adding a steering rack in a horizontal position and secure it by inserting a hook through a special ring, which is located on the rear wheel mudguard. To Assemble the scooter, disconnect a steering rack lock from a hook of a mudguard, and then lift it into a vertical position and lock a lever.

Daily Maintenance and Storage

Clean and store Electric Scooter

  • You can use a soft cloth with soap water to clean your scooter.
  • Warning : Do not use alcohol to wash your electric scooter or under a strong pressure of the water. Make sure the scooter is turned off. In addition, after charging of the vehicle, it is necessary to insert a plug back to a charging connector, otherwise you may get an electric shock, or may have serious water damage cause from water falling into this hole, may have serious water damage.
  • When you do not use the scooter, store it in a dry, cool place. Leaving the device under the sun can cause rapid damaging of the materials, battery, and wheels.

Maintenance of Electric Scooter battery

  1. Always use certified batteries.
  2. Do not open the battery yourself before asking for professional advice from us.
  3. It is recommended to use certified AC adapter that comes in original package.
  4. Improper disposal of used batteries and accumulators is the cause of severe environmental pollution. Please, dispose of batteries in accordance with local laws. Please do not dispose of  batteries together with food waste. Protecting the environment together!
  5. After each use of the device, charge the battery to prolong its service life. Do not store the scooter battery in rooms with temperatures, that exceed 50℃or-20℃ (for example, do not leave the battery of Electric Scooter and other batteries in cars in summertime on the hot sun), do not leave the battery near fire. As a result of these actions may deteriorate the battery, overheating and can even cause inflammation.
    • If the scooter is not used for 30 days, keep the device in a cool, dry place and charge the battery. You need to charge the battery every 60 days for protect the life of battery.
    • Avoid a full discharge of the device, it will reduce battery life. When using the device at room temperature, the battery will be able to ride a longer distance and have a better performance. When you use the scooter at temperatures below 0C, vehicle performance will be decreased.
    • Note: A fully charge scooter runs about 120-180 days of standby time. The battery has a smart chip, that stores information about its charging-discharging. If you are not charging the battery for a long time, it can cause serious damage, for which it is impossible to charge the device again. This kind of damage is not included in free warranty service. (Caution: Do not disassemble the device by unauthorized people, as there is a risk of electric shock or serious injury as result of a short circuit.

Adjusting a brake disc
If a brake is very tight, use M5 hex wrench and scroll counterclockwise screws of brake disc tensioner pulley, slightly shorten a length of a tail brake cable, then tighten a tensioner pulley. If you think that brake is too loose, loosen a tension pulley, pull a brake cable to slightly increase a length of its tail. Tighten a tension pulley.

Adjusting a handlebar
Staggering of steering rack: using a M5 hex wrench, tighten two screws near the folding mechanism.
