GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS:

Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before your first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. It gives you tips for optimal use.

  1. Only connect this appliance to the main power network of 220 ~240V 50 Hz
  2. Keep the appliance and cable away from sources of heat, sharp objects, or anything that may cause damage to the appliance.
  3. Do not place the cord under a carpet. Do not cover the cord with small clothes, shirts, or other similar elements. Place the cord away from traffic areas in order to avoid the risk of anyone tripping over it.
  4. Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
  5. In case the cord is damaged it should be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
  6. Use the appliance only indoors
  7. Do not cover the appliance during its operation
  8. Only use the appliance on a stable -, flat -, horizontal surface
  9. Ensure the appliance is switched OFF before connecting it to the mains power supply.
  10. Always ensure that your hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switch on the product or touching the plug and mains supply connections
  11. Do not leave this appliance unattended when it is in use. Turn it OFF and disconnect the appliance when you leave the room for an extended period.
  12. Before cleaning or other maintenance switch OFF the appliance and unplug it from the mains socket.
  13. To disconnect the appliance please switch it OFF first and then remove the plug from the socket. Do not pull the cord to disconnect the plug.
  14. This appliance is not intended to be used by persons – including children – with reduced physical sensory of mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  17. Do not insert your fingers into the openings of the guard.
  18. Never use the fan without the guard. Do not use the fan if the propeller is damaged or cracked.
  19. Do not leave your hair, tablecloths, clothes, or curtains near all openings of the fan, they may be sucked into the fan and be taken within the internal moving parts, which could cause an injury or damage.
  20. Do not use the fan in wet – or damp locations such as bathrooms.
  21. Do not operate the fan when it is not mounted on its base or is lying on the side.
  22. Make sure the cord is completely extended before use
  23. Ensure the fan is switched OFF from the mains supply before removing the guard
  24. Always unplug the fan in places where gasoline, paint, or other flammable liquids are used or stored.

OPERATION

Speed selection:
Connect to plug to the power socket. Your fan is equipped with 4 operating buttons which you can find on the frontside. Select among 3 fan speeds by pressing the  N/SPEED button or select the OFF button when you want to stop operating the fan.

  1. Low speed
  2. Middle speed
  3. High speed

ORIENTATION OF THE VENTILATED AIR
You can activate the rotation function by pressing the ROTATION button.

ASSEMBLY OF THE VENTILATOR

PART 1
Loosen and remove the four screws from the bars. Then cross one base onto the other to make sure they interlock.
Slide the Base Decorative Cap down to the bottom of the outer pipe. Make sure the 4 screws are tightly secured.
Insert the rubber feet into the holes of the crossbars, then finish the assembly.
PART 2

Loosen and remove the Height Adjustment Collar from the top of the Inner Tube. Pull the Inner Tube out from the Outer Tube to adjust the tube to the desired height and tighten the collar.
PART 3

  • Unscrew the plastic mounting nut from the front of the motor shaft by rotating it anti-clockwise.
  • Position the rearguard against the front of the motor shaft, ensuring the locating pegs on the motor shaft are engaged correctly in the holes of the rear guard.
  • Tighten the rear guard Mounting Nut clockwise. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN IT.
  • Push the fan blades onto the motor shaft.
  • Tighten the blade cap or nut by turning it anti-clockwise.
  • Mount the guard grip of the front guard onto the rear guard to ensure they are fixed together tightly. Insert the screw into the holes in the rims of the guard, ensuring the front guard and rear guard can be reinforced by the screw.

OPERATION
You can operate the fan with both the operating buttons on the appliance or with the remote control which is included.

The remote has 5 operating buttons:

  1. ON/SPEED. With this button, you switch ON the fan. By pressing repeatedly you can select the fan speed.
  2. OFF. With this button, you switch OFF the fan.
  3. ROTATION. With this button, you enable or disable the rotation function of the fan.
  4. TIMER. With this button, you can set the timer function. Pressing the button once it will program to switch off in half an hour. You can select in steps of 30 minutes to operate the fan for up to 4 hours.
  5. AUTO. By pressing this button the fan will randomly change its speed.

Except for the AUTO button, you will find the remaining 4 mentioned buttons also on the front side of the appliance.

CLEANING AND STORAGE.

  • Be sure your fan is in the OFF position, preferably unplugged from the socket
  • Use only a soft cloth to gently wipe the fan clean
  • Do not immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip into the motor housing
  • Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan
  • For storage, clean the fan carefully as instructed and store the fan in a cool, dry place.

ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY DISPOSAL

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment – WEEE – requires that old household electrical appliances should not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste stream. Old appliances should be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed-out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation that when you dispose of the appliance, it should be separately collected. Contact your local authority for information concerning the correct disposal of your old appliance.
