Safety

  • Read this instruction manual carefully.
  • Keep the instruction manual and the product information safe for future reference or for the next owner.
  • Do not connect the appliance if it has been damaged in transit. Only use this appliance:
  • With genuine parts.
  • Under supervision.
  • In private households and in enclosed spaces in a domestic environment at room temperature.
  • for normal processing quantities and for normal processing times for domestic use.
  • Up to an altitude of max. 2000 m above sea level.
  • for blending fruit, vegetables and smoothies, e.g. smoothies with ice cream.

The appliance must always be disconnected from the mains after each use, whenever it is left unattended, prior to assembly, disassembly or cleaning, in the event of an error and when you are close to rotating parts.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children.

  • Never operate a damaged appliance.

  • Only use the appliance in enclosed spaces.
  • Never expose the appliance to intense heat or humidity.
  • Do not use steam- or high-pressure cleaners to clean the appliance.
  • Never let the power cord come into contact with hot appliance parts or heat sources.
  • Never let the power cord come into contact with sharp points or edges.
  • Never kink, crush or modify the power cord.
  • Never place the appliance on or near hot surfaces.
  • Parts which show cracks or other damage or do not fit correctly must be replaced with genuine spare parts.
  • When cleaning and emptying the blender jug, watch out for the sharp blades.
  • Never touch the edges of the blades with bare hands.
  • Keep packaging material away from children.
  • Do not let children play with packaging material.

  • Do not let children play with small parts.
  • Follow the cleaning instructions.
  • Clean surfaces which come in contact with food before each use.
Avoiding material damage
  • Do not operate the appliance at no-load.
  • Observe the maximum processing quantities.
  • Never use the To-Go blender jug with blade insert in a microwave or oven.
  • Do not use the To-Go blender jug with blade insert to store objects which do not belong to it.
  • Do not process food that is hotter than 50 °C in the To-Go blender jug.

Note
Restrictions on processing:

  • Do not make pancake batter or mayonnaise.
  • Do not use it to chop ingredients like almonds, onions, parsley and meat.
  • Use enough liquid when mixing solid food.
  • Do not chop up ice cubes to make crushed ice, e.g. for cocktails.
Recipe Ingredients Processing
Carrot soup
  • 60 g potatoes
  • 240 g carrots
  • 20 g onions
  • 280 g cool vegetable stock
  • 150 g cream
  • 1 tsp tomato purée
  • 1 pinch dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

  • Peel the vegetables and cut into cubes 2 x 2 cm in size.
  • Add the vegetables and the cool vegetable stock.
  • Press Start and process for 8 seconds.
  • Add the soup to a pan and bring to the boil.
  • Cook on a medium heat for 15 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
