TROUBLESHOOTING

In this section you will find solutions to common problems with your stone oven. If you cannot solve the problem yourself, please contact our customer service.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
The temperature display flashes. This is an automatic thermostat lamp. The

lamp will stay on until the selected temperature is
reached.
The dough burns.| The oven temperature is too high. Make sure that the oven is preheated to level 5 before you put
the dough in. Place the dough on the baking stone as soon as the thermostat lamp goes out. If you
are baking several pieces of dough in a row, we recommend lowering the temperature to level 4
and leaving the door open for a few minutes.
The pizza crust is on fire.| The oven temperature is too high. If you find that the top of the pizza cooks faster than the bottom,
lower the temperature to 4 or turn off the top resistance for a while. Alternatively, you can leave the
lid open while you bake the pizza.
The stone surface is dirty.| The pizza base may be too moist, next time add more flour to the dough. Before placing the pizza
or lahmacun on the baking stone, sprinkle cornmeal or regular flour on the baking stone to prevent
it from sticking to the stone. Clean the floor with a steel spatula or sandpaper and then with a
clean cloth. Make sure all parts are dry before removing the oven.
The oven does not heat up| Check that the device is correctly connected to the power supply.
Make sure the temperature dial is set to the desired temperature.
If the problem persists, contact customer service.
The cooking time seems to be
inconsistent| Make sure the oven is sufficiently preheated.
Make sure the oven is not overloaded. Too many foods at once can affect cooking time.
If the problem persists, contact customer service.
The stove smokes| Make sure the oven is clean. Leftover food can cause smoke (use a steel spatula to clean the
floor).
Make sure the food is placed correctly in the oven and is not touching the top resistance.
If the problem persists, contact customer service.
The oven makes unusual noises.| Make sure the oven is on a stable and level surface. Also, check that all parts of the stove are
assembled correctly.
The oven takes too long to preheat.| Make sure the oven door is closed while the oven is heating up. Also, check that the temperature
controller is set to the highest level.
