This remote is perfect for replacing or upgrading your Roku TV, Roku player, or Roku Smart Soundbar remote. It works with all Roku TV models and the majority of Roku streaming media players. Simply use your voice to find entertainment and control your television. You’ll like its four pre- programmed channel shortcut buttons, which allow you to swiftly switch between streaming channels with a single thumb click. It also contains side buttons that allow you to manage the power of your TV, alter the volume, and mute the audio (on demand).

Pairing your remote with a Roku TV

• Step 1: Turn the TV on Stay on the Roku home screen.
• Step 2: Insert batteries On the backside of the remote, slide open the battery cover. Insert batteries placing the negative (-) ends in first.

Press and hold the Pairing button down for 5 seconds until you see the LED status light begin flashing.

• Step 3: Pair Point your new remote at your Roku TV and wait 30 seconds while the remote pairs.

NOTE
If the remote pairing dialog does not appear on your TV screen repeat steps 1 through 3.

• Step 1: Turn off the Roku player Remove the power cable from your player, wait 5 seconds, then re-connect it.
• Step 2: Wait for the home screen When your Roku player displays the home screen, insert the batteries into your remote.
• Step 3: Insert batteries On the backside of the remote, slide open the battery cover. Insert batteries placing the negative (-) ends in first.

• Step 4: Pair Wait 30 seconds while your remote pairs with your player.

Setting up TV power and volume on my Roku player or audio device

1. Press the Home button on your new Roku remote.
2. Scroll up or down and select Settings.
3. Select Remotes & devices and then select Remote.
4.  Select Set up a remote for TV control. Follow the on-screen instructions.

• Does this have an earphone jack?
  A headphone jack is available on the Voice Remote Pro ($29.99). It is unavailable on the Voice Remote ($19.99). To compare each remote’s features, check out the helpful graphic on the product page. Select your preferred model product at the top of the page.

• Does this have the pairing button under the battery cover to pair with the tv and system?
  Yes, there is a pairing button under the battery cover.

• What pre-set shortcuts on this remote?
  Just received my new “Roku Voice Remote,” (no headphone jack). It has the new shortcut buttons with ‘Apple tv+,’ ‘Disney+,’ ‘Hulu,’ and ‘Netflix.’ I think my original OEM remote had a way to change those settings, and I would love the option to change them.

• Does voice command work within Amazon Prime to search for content?
  From my experience when you press the voice button it takes you to the home screen on the Roku device and searches through Roku’s search engine. Pretty much you are searching the Roku but you don’t have to type anything in. It is a cool feature though. You can tell it to open prime and it will open prime but only searches on the home page search engine.

• Will this remote work on a Roku tv without wifi?
  Yes

• Is this a point anywhere remote?
  Yes. It uses RF.

• How to put batters in remote?
  Check back on the Roku remote.

• Is this remote compatible with Roku stick 3600x?
  I work on my 3600R Roku so it should work on your 3600X. They’re both the same product.

• Is this compatible with model 2500X?
  The easy-to-use Roku Voice Remote with TV controls is perfect to replace or upgrade the remote for your Roku TV, Roku player, or Roku Smart Soundbar.

• Is this remote compatible with Roku remote streaming stick plus model 3810RW?
  Yes. The only difference from the original remote is a mute button on the side

• Will this work with on smart tv model 7820x?
  It will work on ANY Roku-ready device.

• Does it control the TV through a Bluetooth connection?
  No, it has IR in it for TV and soundbar control. I have a Vizio smart TV and Vizio soundbar, both are controlled by the IR in this remote.
