SAFETY & MAINTENANCE

  • Do not exceed the maximum user weight. This may cause damage to the wheelchair, and injury to the user as the wheelchair can become unstable and tip over.
  • This wheelchair was designed to carry one person at any time. Carrying more than one person may exceed the weight limit and cause the pushchair to be unstable.
  • Any damage to the wheelchair due to mis-used or exceeding the maximum weight limit is not covered by the warranty.
  • This wheelchair is designed for use on even surfaces. Should you come across uneven, bumpy, or rough surfaces, try to avoid if possible or approach with caution.
  • The recommended maximum incline angle is 15°. Any attempt to climb or descend steeper inclines may cause the pushchair to become unstable and unsafe.

Maximum Safe Incline Angle (Ascending & Descending)

  • Curbs and other obstacles should be approached with caution. It is recommended that the wheelchair is driven around such obstacles whenever possible. If these obstacles cannot be avoided, do approach slowly at 90° from the front or rear of the pushchair.

  • It is very important to have regular checks and servicing of the pushchair. You should keep the wheelchair clean and free from dirt as this will prevent debris from causing damage to the wheel bearings, castors, castor bearings, and joints.

  • Worn off tires will make your pushchair difficult to maneuver. Ensure that both the rear wheels and front castors are not excessively worn out. If they are worn out, dented, twisted, or out of alignment, it will cause difficulty when pushing on even surfaces.
